The Omega NC900HD Nutrition System is a masticating juicer machine. Sometimes referred to as a low-speed juicer, the Nutrition Center processes at 80 RPM, whereas most other juice extractor machines process at a speed of 1,650 to 15,000 RPM. The low speed protects and maintains healthy enzymes, prevents oxidation, and allows juice to be stored for longer periods without degradation. One of the most effective ways to easily access nutritious enzymes that help to improve immunity and overall health, Omega Juicer Machines are designed to deliver a potent dose of antioxidants to boost and support overall health and immunity. Don't eat your fruits and veggies—juice them and enjoy a day’s worth of vitamins in 1 delicious drink! The dual-stage juice processing system extracts the maximum amount of juice from fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, and even wheatgrass! You can also use your Omega low-speed juicer to turn nuts into nut butters, make baby food from natural, fresh ingredients, whip up soy milk, extrude pasta, grind coffee and spices, and mince herbs and garlic. Make delicious and nutritious drinks and snacks that everyone will love with the help of this slow juicer cold press machine. Note: some noise is to be expected. Please set this compact juicer machine juicer on top of a thin towel to help stabilize and mitigate noise.

Title: Juicing newbie?
Review: If you've been juicing for a long time, this review may not help you all that much. This is my first foray into this arena, so if you're new or would like to hear from someone with a fresh set of eyes--here goes.I spent quite a few hours reviewing all of the juicer choices on the market. I read Wirecutter, tons of Amazon reviews, as well as reviews on Williams-Sonoma and BB&Beyond. I had 3 primary criteria:1) ease in cleaning;2) noise level; and3) how "clear" the resulting juice would be (I was going for a relatively pulp free juice product).I was still unsure, so I ended up buying two juicers. The first was the Novis. I was attracted to its overall look, its Swiss engineering (with resulting quiet operation) and fairly condensed foot print. However, when trying to operate it, I'm not sure I got exactly how it was supposed to work--and didn't like what came out and to me at least, I made a mess. Please note: I completely own the possibility of possible user error. (Like I said, as a newbie to this arena--heck if I know how to do any of this stuff.)The other juicer I bought was this one--the NC900HDC. And--I have now used it I guess 7 times. Here's what I've found:1) The juicer is very quiet. You could literally be having a conversation with someone and turn it on, and not have to raise your voice. So it passed that test with flying colors. Plus--it didn't result in my timid dog running out of the room crying like she did when I tried out the Vitamix blender.2) Ease in cleaning--not bad. Of course, I'm at a loss for comparables but it takes me maybe a minute to disassemble and put the pertinent parts on the top shelf of the dishwasher that I then set to rinse or the light load setting and turn on. That's it. I who detest mess and lack sufficient time or patience to mess with having to clean something up (especially in the mornings) cannot believe that this is what a lot of juicers are complaining about with their machines. So I have to conclude that this is one of its selling points in the market.3) Clarity of juice/lack of pulp--well, there's some in it, but not enough to bother me in the least bit--so it passes on that front as well.A couple of extra points for anyone who may still be reading:1) A lot of reviewers complain that many of the parts are easily broken. To me--everything looks quite solid but then again it's a brand new machine so that's what I'd expect. But I honestly can't figure out what would break on the thing. I promise to update this review if and when something breaks.2) In terms of processing time, yes--you will have to (depending on what you're putting through the machine) on occasion use the pusher thing to force things to go down, but that's a no big deal deal for me. Maybe it would irritate me if I'd previously owned a machine that grabbed whatever I put in it and spit out a bunch of juice but I mean--you're standing there loading the machine anyway--so the way I look at it, it occasionally gives me something to do. If this isn't the ultimate example of a true first world problem, I can't imagine what is.I'll close with the recipe I've put together so you can see the wide variety of textures and density of food items it works great with:Green Beet Juice2 apples, sliced and cored1 fairly long cucumber2 C celery (in 3-4 inch pieces)16 or so baby carrots2 limes cut in quarters (with peel and seeds)3-4 C combo baby chard, kale and spinach3-4 beets (I peel the fresh beets but have found organic beets at Costco that are cooked and peeled and have used those as well; I wish they were raw really--but the peeling process is a bit of a bxxxch--it leaves red everywhere.)This yields 4 cups/serivings. I put this in as a recipe on my Fitness Pal and it comes to 110 calories per serving.(One final note: Depending on the kind of apples you use, and your basic sense of taste, a couple of times I stirred in a packet of stevia, which while making it sweeter, also seems to make the flavors overall come out a little more distinctly. Of course, this could all be in my mind, and to any all-natural, raw food juice police out there--please forgive me. I've also mixed it in with some stevia-sweetened ginger beer for what I've got to say was a terrifically refreshing and delicious drink.)

Title: Way better then my Breville!
Review: We use this juicer for celery juice or wheatgrass juice. (Most powerful elixirs on the planet!) The Omega creates almost 30% more juice then my Breville high speed juicer. It takes slightly longer, but it's well worth it. Celery juice first thing in the morning pretty much guarantees that your day is going to be the best day of your life. It's crazy alkalizing and puts you into zen blissfulness. Wheatgrass juice helps you detox from flouride (which causes acne and skin problems) in addition to the other health benefits.Needless to say, this juicer makes it easy to create both juices. Super easy to clean, too. That's always an important facet. I simply spray a few pieces with hot water and I'm set. Then run them in the dishwasher once a week for a deeper clean. If you live in a city with hard water, you'll probably need to run in the dishwasher daily.Another thing I like is the juice seems much greener and denser. Seems like it's more nutritious.I did a thorough review of all juicers on the market, and then reviewed the Omega line. This type of juicer creates the least amount of heat, so it's less damaging to the veggies. And it came in as number one for best consumer reviews. I chose the NC900HDC model because it's heavy duty, has a bigger chute thing at the top, and the parts are BPA free.Juice recipes:Celery and nothing else - best possible juice you can make. Great for detox, cleansing, organ movement, stomach acid, and hydration. (Thanks for the tip Anthony Williams)Celery, cucumber, and kale stems - great for a morning wake me up and ultra hydration and nourishment. I think kale is highly nutritious, but it's important to eat the fiber too. So if you save the stems and eat the leaves, the stems come in handy for juicing!Wheatgrass shots - sort of like an expresso shot. It packs a punch and will detox you from fluoride and metals. It's powerful, so maybe start with half a shot.Optional: add a lemon and/or lime for citrus love, to kill bacteria, and for extra hydration. (Bacterium hates citrus!!)Additional tips:Absolutely get a small strainer (see photo). You want the juice to be as bioavailable as possible without activating your digestive system. It's night and day. Without a strainer, I could drink maybe 8-12oz at a time. With a strainer, I can pound 24oz on an empty stomach. When cleaning, push the catcher bin under the juicer to catch dripping juice and save yourself a paper towel. Do this while you drink and clean up. See photoUpdate April 2019: I've juiced every single morning since I've bought this. I'll never go back. Daily wake up at 2:45, drink juice by 3am, then meditate with a belly full of bliss.. then start my day! Stress and anxiety can't touch me! (Side note, what are people juicing to break their screens? I've had zero problems with any of my parts since day one and I use daily.. sometimes 2-3x a day too.)

Title: I LOVE THIS THING!!
Review: Works great and I'm enjoying the most delicious green juices. I just use the celery front piece and run celery, kale or chard, parsley and apples through it and it does a great job. SO EASY to clean and is very quiet. I just chop up celery into 4 inch pieces and feed it through, alternating soft stuff and hard stuff. It makes the most delicious juices. I notice a TINY amount of solids that are also super small, not an issue at all. GET ONE!!!

Review: After hours of searching for which juicer to buy, this one exceeded all of my expectations. I owned the champion juicer previously. I wanted to get a new one because the champion was not efficient in juicing leafy greens. I was getting frustrated not being able to juice greens without clogging the juicer and having to wash the parts a few times while making one juice. After reading tons of reviews and watching hours of YouTube juice off videos, I am soooo happy with this juicer. It is worth every penny. The size of the chute is bigger then the Omega J8006, it is quiet and yields very good quality juice AND this one doesn't get clogged ...and super easy to clean. Love love love it and definitely recommend it, especially if you like juicing for the greens such as kale, parsley, cilantro, celery or anything else fibrous.

Review: It's the only juicer I've tried, so I can't give a comparison. However it is quick and efficient, fairly quiet, and cleans up easily in a couple of minutes. Considering the cost of purchasing juices, this paid for itself in a couple of weeks. I like it a lot.
Customers say
Customers like the ease of cleaning, quality, and ease of use of the juicer. They mention it does a great job of juicing every type of vegetable, is versatile, and functional. Some are satisfied with the value for money, quietness, and speed. However, some customers have different opinions on its durability.
