Title: Low quality cookbook with only about 150 receipes (not 2000)
Review: This low-quality cookbook is reminiscent of a church fundraiser cookbook, with its few black and white faded photos and with the recipes listed one right after another. This self-published book is unprofessional and not useful for many reasons. It is way overpriced for what you get.1. Lack of Visual Appeal:-The absence of pictures tied into the recipes within the cookbook, coupled with faded black and white printing, diminishes its visual appeal. While the description showcased colorful dish images, none of those even made it into the book.-It’s puzzling that the sample shows color inside the book, yet the reality is monochromatic except for the front and back covers.2. Misleading Claim of 2000 Days of Slow Cooker Creations:-The cookbook’s cover boldly asserts “2000 days of slow cooker creations.” However, with only around 150 recipes, this claim appears grossly exaggerated. It’s unclear how the author arrived at this number. Even if we made one recipe per day, there should be 2000 recipes.-The repetition of the cinnamon apple crisp recipe on pages 101 and 103 further undermines the book’s credibility. The cinnamon apple crisp recipe on page 103 has the directions for the banana bread pudding on page 100.3. Quality and Originality of Recipes:-With the limited selection of 150 unoriginal recipes, I couldn’t find anything in there worth making. I would expect more variety and creativity.-Making certain dishes in a crockpot, like pancakes and French toast, seems impractical due to the lengthy cooking time. A frying pan would be more efficient.4. Health Considerations and Ingredient Accessibility:-Some ingredients (such as octopus and swordfish) are not easily found in regular grocery stores.-The cookbook’s claim of promoting whole, unprocessed foods is contradicted when many recipes have canned and packaged ingredients. Additionally, sugar and processed items like ranch dressing, mayo, cranberry sauce, and other ingredients don’t align with a health-conscious approach. I had to laugh when she says towards the beginning of the book to opt for whole, unprocessed foods by using fresh vegetables, yet includes several recipes that use canned tomatoes, canned beans or other canned and packaged food.5. Gluten-free information--As promised, she does have a few pages about gluten sensitivity vs allergy and the science behind a gluten-free diet, but it appears as though she has paraphrased several websites, and didn't source any of the sites she used. I’m not finding this author to be a credible source of this topic. These are just a few of the issues I have with this self-published book.

Title: Quality not great
Review: No color photos of the dishes other than the cover. Feels more like a home made cook book with a nice cover. The recipes are explained well but the look/feel is not good quality.
