Do you crave food all the time? Do you think you might want to eat again in the future? Do you suck at cooking? Inspired by the wildly popular YouTube channel, these 60+ recipes will help you suck slightly less

You already know the creator of the YouTube show You Suck at Cooking by his well-manicured hands and mysterious voice, and now you’ll know him for this equally well-manicured and mysterious tome. It contains more than sixty recipes for beginner cooks and noobs alike, in addition to hundreds of paragraphs and sentences, as well as photos and drawings.

You’ll learn to cook with unintimidating ingredients in dishes like Broccoli Cheddar Quiche Cupcake Muffin-Type Things, Eddie’s Roasted Red Pepper Dip (while also learning all about Eddie’s sad, sad life), Jalapeño Chicken, and also other stuff. In addition, there are cooking tips that can be applied not only to the very recipes in this book, but also to recipes outside of this book, and to all other areas of your life (with mixed results).

In the end, you just might suck slightly less at cooking.*

Snacks are great for bribery, silencing children, buying temporary friends, and for eating on the go.

The Gas Station Charcuterie Plate is possible because we live in the golden age of mobile snacking.

Occasionally in life, you might find that a sandwich has patches of blank bread. This sandwich is one that was made by a bad person. You, however, are not.

Title: This is a cookbook that is both useful and also beautiful as a coffee table book
Review: I love this book, it's durable and filled with recipes that are delicious and hard to mess up. If you somehow haven't, it's worth checking out the author's show.

Title: Humor
Review: Laughter is the best medicine. I seriously suck at cooking. Dinner time is the worst time. Purchased this book to laugh at how ridiculous it is that I cannot cook in hopes of improving my skills in the kitchen. This cookbook stays out on my kitchen counter!

Title: This Is the Stuff that Food Comedy Is Made of!
Review: How do I review a masterpiece by an unknown author who has a decidedly unique style and an ability to shock and awe with every breath? Is this chef a man or woman, or both, or none of the above? Every breath is potentially lost in myriad gales of laughter, and I'm not sure I'm going to survive our first encounter.I was in a bad mood this morning, very bad. Bad, bad badbad. So I did what my husband hates most and opened my Kindle to "Books" to see what's recommended for sale to me when I'm in a bad mood. Tucked in there, quite innocently and innocuously was this You Suck at Cooking, with no stated author. I HATE anonymity where someone refuses to take responsibility for the careful or careless mischief he is going to make. Hate it, but still curious. So I sampled. Hmmm. Well, guess what Chef Anon is hilarious in the nicest, most responsible way possible. He is giving fandango information, with fresh new concepts and words to entangle and engage us in the sheer FUN of cookery. Simple recipes from simply different ideas (who knew green eggs from pesto not spinach, are way better and I don't have to grit my teeth offering it to my grandchild with hopeful crossed fingers). And, I've got a wangdangler or two and have never called them spatulas because I hate spitting into my skillet when I ask Frank for one.And I don't care who Chef is, he is welcome in our home/life/will because he somehow noisily sneaked into our kitchen and our hearts by reminding us that cookingwithlaughter just tastes better. That love is the most essential seasoning is the most essential part of any recipe and it takes the toil out of the task (and the foil out of the flask; I don't know why, but I needed to say that! He/she made me say it, then giggle). It is so nice, so refreshing for cooking to be fun again, that I think I'll make some peanut butter cookies and be fifteen again. I think I'll be in good company with other newly devoted fans of Chef Anonymous. Come on! Give You Suck a try. You might find you don't suck at all, which is a good thing, because these days straws are in such short supply.

Title: Not as funny as the show
Review: This book is a joke. And I mean that in a good way. Sort of. It contains all kinds of "tips" for amateur cooks with all the same humor of Mel in his YouTuve series, "You Suck at Cooking." The problem is, without hearing his voice say the words, it just kind of sounds a bit foolish, and it's just too much of that surreal, dry type of humor to take in very large doses. As a cookbook, it's got some great recipes in it, and the pictures (though silly, showing a plate of food with some pliers as a utensil where a fork should be, for example) are really professional looking, so it's a good purchase. Just be aware it's just a bit too weird. At least in my opinion.

Title: Perfect Birthday Gift
Review: My sister sucks at cooking, and I mean this whole heartedly. She baked a metal spoon into brownies once. She also tried to cook chicken in a cup of salt for her husband as well. She's even tried to bake a pie by taking it out of its pie tin and it flattened into the baking pan.So naturally, you'd try to get cook books that can help someone learn how to cook. This book was the perfect option. I originally seen it in FYE for double the price and decided Amazon was better and after inspecting the book further when it arrived, I love it.The recipes are amazing and easy to understand and the graphs/charts throughout give a good laugh. I think she just might be able to finally learn how to cook, or she might not. After all, results do vary.

Review: I thought "bloody hell, that guy from youtube that doesn't suck at cooking has written a book" and immediately was interested, wanted to support the guy for the years of entertainment but then I sat down and read through this little novella. I wasn't quite prepared for the peppery (peppery peppery) intensity of this book; I'd expected actual recipes and just enough flavor text throughout to fill a single online recipe, but lo and behold each chapter is a magnificent mix of everything YSAC's known for, and all the things that Devin isn't known for too. It's so good in fact, I read it cover to cover then decided to read the bits in-between where the recipes were; and not to brag, but, I suck slightly less at cooking because of it.
