Title: Keeps it cool or warm
Review: I use this thermos for coffee on the go or icy water when heading out. It's very durable w/a cap to seal liquids & an over cap that acts as a cup to pour a few ounces of your drink into.The thermos is very tall & may be impractical for turning hot coffee up to your mouth without spilling it all over yourself.... so the cap cup is a great idea. Water on the other hand is a different story and can be taken straight from the thermos..I like this thermos a lot and will be using it mostly for water as I search for a shorter thermos that is more practical for sipping on hot drinks.I love the little keychain grip piece that is on thermos for holding it with your fingers.. It is well made, does not leak & keeps ice solid in the water..

Title: This Gets the Fundamentals Right
Review: Over 30 years ago, I bought a Japanese made thermos, a little under a liter. Loaning it was a mistake and I now needed a new unit. Buying a basic thermos has gotten harder since I purchased my old one. Too many companies think they should had straws or mouth pieces. Most look like they will last a while and then it'll be time to buy another.I was thrilled to find this thermos after looking though pages of Amazon products and running multiple searches. This is exactly what I wanted, essentially a life-time purchase. Stainless inside and out. The ability to keep liquids hot or cold through my work-day. A good seal to prevent accidental leaks. And the cap is usable as a cup if needed.It came with a couple add-ons. There's a little strainer with micro-pores that snaps into the neck of the thermos. I'm not certain what I would use it for... The other item that is probably a little more valuable is a replacement gasket for the thermos lid. Guess I'll have to figure out where to put it so I can find it in a decade or two if I need it.Overall, this is a good, basic thermos. If that's something you think might be useful, check this out and the available sizes. It certainly met my needs.

Title: Keeps drinks HOT for extended periods!
Review: I make my coffee the night before so I can drink it first thing when I wake up. This thermos (750ml) is the perfect size to make 2 large cups from the Keurig machine (12oz each), AND it keeps it hot all night! The first time I tried it I was amazed at how hot the coffee still was when I woke up. As for longevity.. I just got this cup so I will update later on... but the quality seems good. Although, the strap is not leather as the box says it is. It is more like thin seatbelt material. I was surprised by the little removable SS filter inside of it at first. This might come in handy to some but I have no need for it. Also, the extra plastic ring for the lid is much appreciated. These tend to get icky over time by leaving coffee in the cup for long periods.

Obviously I wish there had been no issues in the first place, but I do value a seller who offers to make things right AND doesn't ask you to change the rating to do so. I'm changing this to 4 stars solely for the good customer service they offered.Original review:The size is perfect, and it's a nice looking thermos, but it leaks if laid on its side. Took it out of my bag tonight to find everything under it wet with coffee. Unlike a namebrand "Thermos", this one uses a single flimsy ring to seal the container. It's a shame because I like the size and so far it keeps my coffee hot enough to last throughout my shift. But I can't afford to clean everything in my backpack if it just happens to shift and lay on it's side.

Title: Love it!
Review: Loved it! Leaves the hot/warm water hot/warm for hours. I use it to make my baby bottles at night (even though i have a bottle warmer lol) I just add room temperature water to make it warm. A little faster then the bottle warmer if you ask me because kids now days don’t have patience lol others I’ve bought the water gets cold within a few hours, this one 12 hours later it’s still pretty hot

Title: Good bottle but does contain plastic
Review: I purchased this bottle after scouring Amazon for an insulated bottle that wasn't too big (500ml is plenty) and had no plastic touching my hot drinks. Several other reviewers pointed out that there was no plastic. That is incorrect. Obviously there has to be some type of o-ring gasket to seal the metal cap with the bottle but I had expected that to be food-grade silicone. But there is an instruction page inside the bottle that specifically states the this ring is "PP" plastic, aka polypropylene. It's not a lot of surface area to touch your drink contents, but if you want to avoid plastic altogether, this bottle doesn't cut it. I decided to keep it because it's otherwise a very nice bottle and isn't too fat or tall but wish it was possible to get one with silicone instead. Kleen Kanteen has a tkpro model with steel and silicone but it's much larger than this bottle despite holding the same quantity of liquid, and wouldn't fit in my bag.

Review: Purchased the item to keep my kids milk warm. Instead the heat escaped the bottle in no time. It keep the diaper bag warm. So figure it won't work for that reason I will use it to keep my water cool. Same thing. The water didn't keep cool. So now it's a decoration item in my kitchen, looks nice but doesn't do the job. Need to buy another thermos again.
