Title: Amazing source of information
Review: For those wanting a reference book that shows a list of the top 46 restaurants in the world using a 1–20 scale by the best guides and critics, this is the only source I am aware of. Then add a list of top hotels (many with profiles) that are nearby these restaurants, making this book very useful and needed. Then add chapters on topics like the top 150 signature dishes of these chefs in a menu format, plus their best cookbooks rated, the chefs best insightful aphorisms to better understand this realm and rating the best interior restaurant designs of these, and finally a primer on the elements of fine dining. This all adds up to help me make better, more informed decisions about where to go on my next fine dining trip. I would not hesitate to recommend this book.
