Title: A year later
Review: Still working well and no defects. My only complaint is the adhesive in the summer it tends to fall off but i figired out that if you just slide the camera from its mount after your done driving, you can stretch the adhesive life by taking the stress off it. You wont have to keep replacing it that way and having a sunshield helps too. Picture quality is perfect and clear both day and night and installing it is easy, just remember to turn off your phone's wifi if you want to listen to music or use data otherwise it will try to use the wifi on the camera. You NEED to turn your phones wifi on if you want to review the camera footage though. And your videosbdont save themselves on the SD card unless youbsave them there. The SD card will only save the most recent files before overwriting them. Its a great camera though, i recommend using a second phone you dont use if you want to view the realtime feed while driving

Title: Simple dashcam that is easy to operate
Review: I have reviewed a couple of Taotronics dashcams before, but I would like to get one with wifi so that I can see live video to make sure that my recording is working without having to bring the SD card back home. This is exactly what I need.There are not many buttons on the dashcam. Usually I don't touch the dashcam that often and could never remember which button is which. This one basically just has one side button to turn wifi on/off and audio on/off. The camera size is also very small and won't block my view at all.Note that you have to connect to the wifi of the camera M330***. To find that wifi, it looks like we have to disconnect the phone from other wifi first. The app works well enough for me to view live video and view/download recorded videos.I tested the dashcam out in heavy fog at night and the video quality is pretty good. I have LED headlights on my car and this camera has the same problem as other ones I have tried, in that license plates get over-exposed, and they are not really legible at night. This is a common problem for most dashcams and I have been advised to have voice recording on and say the license plate number out loud when there is a problem.For the price, I am very satisfied with this dashcam that does not have fancy features that I don't need.

Title: Great for the price
Review: This was very easy to set up. The picture is very clear and sound quality is pretty good.The only problem I have with this is I need to be connected to the cameras “wifi” in order to see the footage. And the car needs to be running with it plugged in for it to turn on. So I have a newer car and it wants to connect to my phone immediately, and so does the camera, so they fight over my phone and I can never connect to the camera because it’s not a real wifi so my phone tries to disconnect from it. I guess my problem with it is if I am not in my vehicle with it running, I cannot see the footage from prior drives on my phone. It should be Bluetooth.I’ve had mine for about two months and zero problems so far. It always turns on the second my car is running and shuts off once I get out of the vehicle.

Title: Changing my review
Review: I initially gave this 5 stars as it checked all the boxes I needed it to. I was previously using Magellan, Garmin and a Viofo over the years and the viofo was way too complicated requiring formatting to fat32 which I couldn't ever figure out, and the fact it never recorded when I needed it to, so I got this one. WELL it was great having an easy to use dashcam and the peace of mind knowing it would be a witness when needed, well thats until the POS doesn't work. I was involved in an incident today when a box truck blew a red light without warning and almost killed me. Told the troopers that I have it all on dashcam. So I go to review it and what do you know, it recorded all 83 minutes of my 90 minute commute this morning EXCEPT the 7 minutes I actually needed. To add insult to injury it even recorded me taking it off the windshield to play back the video 🙄. What use is a dashcam when it doesn't do its job? I've bought 4 of them to put in our personal cars and 7 for our company, I will be replacing them immediately. Don't rely on this garbage

Title: Decent camera at a budget price
Review: Took a bit to figure things out, and that is coming from a senior lady, that gets easily frustrated. I did read other reviews, because those are usually quite helpful, with extra tips. You do have to turn your mobile data off, to connect to the camera. Not really a big deal, but it won't work if you miss that step. To connect the app to the camera to see videos, you have to be within 10 ft of the camera, so to download, you'd probably have to be in the car, with the car running, so there is power to the camera. Downloads take a bit, so patience is needed. A long video would probably take quite a while, but I haven't tested that yet. The daytime video quality is excellent, in my lowly opinion. Nighttime driving is rare for me, but I will update as I figure the camera out more. See the video, and judge the quality for yourself. Will be back soon with updates.Second update with a night time video. My windshield was a bit wet as you can see in the video, but the video quality at night is fine.Currently on sale for 50% off. I bought a decent mini SD card from Amazon, and didn't have any problems formatting it. 08092023

Title: Great for price.
Review: The cam worked great, the video quality was good also. Unfortunately I had to return it, because I thought it came with an SD card, it did not. I bought one which I didn't mind. When I inserted the card an error came up saying it was the worn card. Also within seconds of inserting the card bot the card and cam become hot. The card was way to hot. I gave it a 5 start because the problem was not the cam but the card, and I can't use the cam without the card. I will have to buy a cam that comes with a card.
