Title: Works well and seems a decent price but appears cheaply made so I have no idea as to it's lifespan.
Review: Bucket does not leak. Rotating tin ice cream cylinder bends easily. Hand crank is cheaply made. Motor seems to work well but seems a little flimsy. Longevity is a concern. It does a good job of making ice cream and the price seems fair so I give it 5 stars because it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Title: Cool old fashioned ice cream maker
Review: This really is a cool old fashioned ice cream maker. The bucket is large and it is easy to hook up and use the pieces. It has an old fashioned look to it and a hand crank that can be used, or the electric mixer. It is durable and fairly quiet. It is easy to clean and not too messy. It works well and is fun to use. It would also make a great gift.

Title: My fluid intake is solved!
Review: I love this little gadget. Perfect shaved ice every time. I have an aversion to plain water so I can get what I need eating ice. The only thing negative, and not a big issue, is the lid sometimes sticks in the on/crushing mode. I thought I was going to have to return it when it "froze" after making ice and it wouldn't open. I'm a tenacious old poot that kept trying and finally got it opened. Have enjoyed my ice ever since. Thank you for a great economical fast and easy product.

Title: It works better than expected.
Review: This is not a high end ice cream maker, but for the money it works better than I expected and has some nice features. Initially it seemed that most of the parts that came with the freezer were lightweight and cheaply made. I like the fact that it comes with an electric motor AND manual crank. The wooden tub is substantial and everything fits well. But the bottom line question is - does it make good homemade ice cream? The answer is - it really does! Our family has made ice cream for years but when the last maker wore out, we didnât want to drop $300-500 for the top of the line. Iâm happy with purchase and hoping it lasts our family for several years.

Title: Easy to use, easy to clean up
Review: Weâve made homemade ice cream before, but never with a machine. After watching a video, we quickly learned how to use it; while the written instructions were fine, I find videos more helpful. The manual option was fun the first time, but weâve been making a lot of ice cream lately so we now just set it up and walk away. The inner container has plenty of space for a large batch. My kids and I have had fun experimenting with various flavors and techniques, sometimes even on the same day. So far weâve made vanilla, cookies and cream, strawberry, and salted caramel. With multiple uses and different recipes, we've had no issues, and once we figured out the setup for the first batch the rest for quick and easy.Cleaning the inner container is easy (and itâs not heavy, so not an issue when full), allowing us to make a few batches of ice cream without needing to refreeze the container again. The outer bucket has some weight but isnât really heavy which is a plus when youâre trying to clean out the salt, ice, and water. A lot of use and everything has held up just fine.I expected us to use this as an occasional thing, but since itâs been easy to use weâve been using it regularly. Iâm looking into ice cream containers so we can store a few big batches.

Title: Not a Quality product & not ready to use. Requires prep that doesn't even work. Terrible product.
Review: I thought i would buy a electric ice cream maker like i grew up with. Definitely shouldn't had bought this one. Its a real wooden bucket thats jointed together. It looks nice from 5 ft away, but its not a quality made item. There is saw dust all in it. Then after buying all the stuff to make ice cream the manual says to fill the wooden bucket portion of it with water for 2 hours so the wood will absorb the water and swell up to seal any of the wood cracks / splits etc from being made. I filled this wooden bucket up all day to have all the water drain out of it every time in less than 2 min. There is no way you would be able to make ice cream with this product & even more so have a huge mess to clean up from trying.I'm sure there is some kind of sealant you could put on the inside to prevent leaks but it should work out of the box as stated/expected.There is no way it can have 4 star reviews unless bots or ppl were paid to say so.This item should not be able to be sold until they can make it a quality product. The one time i glance a item on amazon site over to buy without reading through the reviews, definitely won't make that mistake again.

Title: LOVE it!
Review: There is nothing like homemade ice cream. I used to make it with my grandpa growing up and have fond memories of it so I decided to get one myself. I love how this one includes BOTH a hand crank option for the classic ice cream making experience and an electric option to speed things up a bit. It includes an aluminum bucket and and the wooden barrel bucket seems to be good quality wood and looks great. There are many great ice cream recipes online but it also includes some in the manual. Great ice cream machine and a great experience for younger kids!

Title: Old Fashion, the way it is suppoed to be
Review: We have had an ice cream make like this for a very long time and ours finally broke. We could have gone with a more modern or fancy one but we believe ice cream made in these tastes better and it is more fun to do as a family. We see the other ones where it is one person in the kitchen doing it. For us this is a family event and activity. The quality of this one is a better than our old one and works amazingly. In hindsight we should have bought it sooner and will probably buy another one soon. We used to make the kids agree on the first flavor to make and for the cost of another machine, the battle wasn't worth it.I would highly recommend this one!!

Review: Gracias a esto ahora puedo hacer gelato y sorbete, quedan con una perfecta textura, y para los que dicen que s ele derrama el hielo en que se derrite es porque primero debe dejarse con agua dentro la cubeta para que la madera se expanda.
