Title: Picked up for cheap and it's amazing!!!
Review: Alright, fellow adrenaline junkies and gaming gurus, let me spill the beans about Riders Republic for PlayStation 5. Strap on your helmets, grab your controllers, and get ready for a wild ride because this game is like strapping a rocket to your skateboard and launching into a digital world of extreme awesomeness!First things first, I feel like I've found the ultimate playground for extreme sports enthusiasts. It's like someone took all the coolest sports imaginable—mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, wingsuit flying, you name it—and dumped them into a blender with a sprinkle of gaming magic. The result? A concoction of high-speed, gravity-defying stunts that make you question if your heart rate is part of the leaderboard. The game world is as vast as my collection of gaming snacks – and that's saying something! From picturesque national parks to stunning landscapes, the attention to detail is mind-blowing. The graphics are so crisp; I once mistook a digital tree for the real deal and tried to take shelter under it during a particularly intense race. Oops! But here's where the hilarity kicks in. You see, I'm not just a player; I'm an accidental comedian in this digital realm. Let's just say my attempts at performing jaw-dropping stunts often end up resembling more of a comedy show – think less "graceful aerial maneuver" and more "unexpected mid-air somersaults." I've probably crashed into more virtual trees than I'd like to admit, but hey, that's half the fun, right? The multiplayer mode is a rollercoaster of chaos and camaraderie. You'll find yourself competing, collaborating, and occasionally colliding with other players, all in the pursuit of victory. It's like attending a chaotic extreme sports festival where the only rule is to have an absolute blast. In summary, Riders Republic for PlayStation 5 is a must-have for thrill-seekers and gaming enthusiasts alike. It's a virtual playground where the laws of physics take a backseat, and the only limit is your imagination – or, in my case, my ability to perform gravity-defying stunts without turning my character into a spectacular digital crash-test dummy. Strap in, folks, because this game is a hilarious adrenaline rush that'll leave you both breathless and laughing your way through the wildest sporting adventures!

Title: An interesting idea, with potential fun for all
Review: I bought this mainly for snowboarding (1080 nostalgia), which is possible through the deep snow (racing) and snow tricks events. The rocketwing racing is pretty fun too.I like that you can compete against other players' ghosts, both in solo mode and for the leader board. But for true online multiplayer you need to be a Playstation Plus subscriber, which offers this game as a download btw.Amusingly, this was my first game on PS5 and I had no idea that the large pad in the middle of the controller was a button. And it happens to be a very important button for this game (it opens the map). So I was just running around riders ridge not understanding what to do next lmao. Tip: open the map and look for events. When you select an event on the map it won't necessarily transport you directly next to the event. Switch to rocketwing and fly the rest of the way. So much energy could be saved if they just implemented an ordered list of events and had it go straight to the event when you click on the list item. But hey, what do I know.

Title: Two days into playing and it was worth it
Review: Two days into playing and it was worth the Black Friday price. Not meaning its not worth full price but sure glad I didn't shell out $60 for it. Pros: Massive map, pretty quick to get from A-B fast traveling far distances. more vehicle options from its predecessor...Steep, real locations around CO and Utah (and more I'm sure). Options for controls of each thing are customizable so you can change to what suits you. Recovery time is a much needed upgrade. Cons: Since there are so many different vehicles, controls are confusing at first. Too many different things you can do at once and some not explained well. The rewind feature is nice but got in my way so I disabled it. Overall: If you liked Steep, You may like this better. Definitely more options all around.

Title: So much fun
Review: Once you get past the initial slog of account signups, tutorials and cringey fake enthusiastic voice acting riddled with eye-rolling slang (it’s like old people trying to sound cool for the kids), then the game is incredible. The graphics and attention to detail are great, the scale of the map and the sheer amount of things to do is insane without feeling overwhelming. We have spent so many hours on this game and it does not get old. There are so many modes of playing that it feels like multiple different games in one. There’s a particular stage in this game that feels like the next-gen Pod Racing game we never got…The mass multiplayer events are absolutely chaotic and fun.I just wish there was more variation to the teenagey/emo music and less patronizing narration…

Title: Cringe. Boring. Disconnected.
Review: I’m not sure what I was expecting. I’m more of a Tony Hawk or SSX gamer. This feels more like Skate or Steep. The unskippable dialogue between races is terrible. The whole game is online-only, even when playing solo (which doesn’t count towards anything, so why can’t it work offline?)You have to make a useless Ubisoft account just to play the game. I wish I bought the digital version so I could have gotten a refund. Oh well. Maybe GameStop will give me something for it.
