Tequila Cocktails: Contemporary Drinks Beyond the Margarita explores a few traditional tequila recipes, variations of those drinks, and original reader favorites from The Intoxicologist site. The recipes in this book range from simple to mid-level regarding difficulty.
A margarita is a perfect way to enjoy a great tequila cocktail, but there are more innovative cocktails to be had. There are many occasions to enjoy a specialty tequila cocktail throughout the year. Cinco de Mayo, National Tequila Day, National Margarita Day, Mexican Independence Day are just a few occasions when raising a glass of tequila is not only fun, but delicious.

Title: Very nice recipe book and overview of bartending terminology
Review: This is not just a bunch of recipes for using tequila. It starts out with a nice bartenders dictionary of the tools used, the concepts of mixing and layering ingredients, and use of the tools. Where I live now, tequila is a really big thing, but the only drink I really know how to make with it is a margarita and a Long Island ice tea. It was really nice to read so many ways to use tequila beyond those two recipes or drinking it straight. Very nice recipe book and overview of bartending terminology in general.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
