Title: Better than expected.
Review: I have a tendency to order something and then once it arrives read reviews. I read reviews on this book with an overwhelming majority saying it was all box mix (I almost even returned the book and am glad I didn't). This is incorrect, the cupcake mix is box mixes- everything else is from scratch. BUT if you go to the back where the holiday recipes are you can find a cupcake base recipe and just apply that to the rest of the cupcake mixes (give or take a flavor or two). For me this book is great, the recipes are simple and fun to make. And it's not overly time-consuming. Recipies fill an hour or two and make for great weekend activities. Definitely not kid-friendly as there are some explicit recipe names. I made the insane Lemon Bars and brought them into work. The office loves them!

Title: My daughter love this book
Review: MY adult daughter attends a monthly book club and is required to bring a snack. She's a busy professional and doesn't have time to fuss over complicated recipes. So far, she loves this book.

Title: Fun book!
Review: This is a very fun cookbook with a lot of creative decorating and flavor ideas. Some of the reviews knock the book for the use of cake mixes. If you have even a passing familiarity with Delish desserts you know they utilize cake mixes as a base and then add different elements to elevate it. I want to also note that it is only the cupcake and brownie section of the book which uses mixes; the cookie and other desserts do not. And in the brownie section there is a "from scratch" base recipe provided. There are pictures for every recipe. I've already made the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and Andes candies cookies. Both were delicious!

Review: Tengo 10 años haciendo postres pero las galletas siempre han sido un reto por eso quise aventurarme con este libro, entonces la primer receta que preparé cuando llegó el libro fueron las galletas de la portada. Están bastante ricas pero no son un 10. Se sienten un poco más grasosas de lo que me gustaría que fueran, la textura de la galleta se ve un tanto porosa y no con esa costra crujiente que muestra el libro y hace falta resaltar más sabores bajando tal vez un poco el azúcar de la masa y subiendo tantito más la sal; porque siento muy dulce la masa. Pero eso sí, el relleno es 💗UNA LOCURA💗 Gran idea y sí quedan hermosas con su relleno.✨ Eso sí, estuvo padre conocer esta receta porque ahora puedo ajustarla a mi gusto hasta llegar a las texturas y sabores exactos que busco.💛También creo que estaría padre que el libro tuviera una tablita de guía de porciones para aquellos ingredientes (como polvo para hornear) que cambia su cantidad dependiendo si estás a nivel del mar, casi ningún libro menciona esto y es súper importante tomarlo en cuenta al momento de hacer postres.Otro detalle que siento en el libro es que algunas recetas no están completas, solo trae la foto súper antojable. Y los ingredientes para prepararlas son como “brownie de cajita” supongo que es para hacer las recetas “más fáciles” pero no desde cero totalmente caseras y ps yo quiero aprender a hacer todo desde cero jeje.
