Title: GREAT controller - the back buttons CAN be programmed to multi-button presses
Review: I read lots of reviews that made me think the back buttons could only 1 to 1 map with non-back buttons (so, simulate the XABY keys or an L1 etc.). I used it for 2 weeks thinking this - turns out I should have just tried, as the multi-button presses I needed (Left Trigger hold + d-pad) were mappable - granted, it's not a macro (so no timing info is saved and you can't input something like "Hold trigger for 2 seconds, release trigger, press up on d-pad"), nor does it come through as a distinct button event from hardware to laptop (I tested with GNU/Linux jstest to monitor the hardware events), which is something I read the X-Box elite is capable of with a special driver.Being able to bind combo buttons to the back buttons means on a game like Final Fantasy 14 (FF14), which can have some really gnarly controller key presses required (the left side action axis wheel requires holding left trigger and pressing a d-pad direction - very hard to do while using the left joystick to move), can now have all 4 of those bindings set to a single button press. The downsides:- The back buttons are VERY easy to press - if you're using this for PC gaming, and set it on your lap to type at keyboard, you're probably going to register a few back button presses as you set it down (or if you shift the controller in your hands) - this wasn't so good in Diablo 4, where I don't need those binds at all. Re-binding is slow/tedious, and you can't save multiple bind "profiles" as far as I can tell- The remote feels great, but is extremely light - a name brand X-Box basic controller feels 2 to 3x heavier - I don't know if that's because of a cheaper rumble system or what. For some people, such a light controller may be desired, but I prefer some "heft" to my devices- I used GNU/Linux fftest program to calibrate rumble levels - it only has 2 rumble levels from the 5 listed - I assume the name brand remotes have all 5 - the 2 it does have are the most important though - "strong rumble" (which can still be at various strengths) and sine, which is like a pulsing rumble effectThe upsides:- Joysticks feel great, they have a rigid pattern around them and it's fun to swivel my thumbs around the edge for the tactile feedback- The controller overall (exterior) feels much better than a cheaper model one I compared it to (a $30 Switch controller that works with PC)- The triggers are not just "press" (maybe this is more of a Switch controller thing) - they have analog ranges of 1 to 32k, although most games treat them as binary presses- The buttons feel good to press - no stickiness - very satisfying to press themOverall - definitely recommend for gaming on GNU/Linux!3 month update: I recently tried an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller (2 so far) - apparently almost all are plagued by face buttons failing to register - that has never been an issue with the PowerA here - for a third of the cost, you're getting a way more reliable controller - in comparison to the name brand model, the only thing it lacks is bluetooth and a bit of "heft" to it (and the "customizations", which are not valuable if base functionality is broken).

Title: Insane value, but not for large hands
Review: For the price this is an insanely solid controller. Unfortunately, it does not feel good if you have large hands. As you can see in the pics, I have massive hands and the controller is just way too small. The back buttons are too high up so it's very uncomfortable for me to try to hold it with 2 fingers on them. I tried different grips and even just using 1 finger for both of them, but it just wasn't comfortable. It's also worth noting that the Fusion Pro 3 is A LOT lighter than the Pro 2. I would guess probably 50% lighter. I preferred the weight of the Pro 2, but that's all preference. As far as performance goes the controller is phenomenal. I bought it for Halo Infinite and it had zero drift whatsoever. I put all of my deadzones down to zero and my character doesn't budge at all with my fingers off the thumbsticks. Thanks to this, playing halo feels very "snappy" and highly responsive, and that I very much liked.Overall, I most likely won't be keeping the controller just because it's too small for my hands. If the back buttons were placed lower it would be fine. Maybe the Pro 4 will have that. Anyways, still great for the price. I bought this to replace a Elite Series 2, and I still like it more than that sad excuse for a controller.

Title: 3 month controller
Review: Not great quality, adult owned and taken care of, JUST STOPS WORKING. Terrible product, trigger locks only feel short because without them the triggers sink into the controller. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, its like that toxic coworker that doesnt pull their weight and then suddenly does just enough to get by and you to forget how bad they are until they slack off again on the next project.

Title: Not helpful for hand fatigue / pain
Review: I got this controller because I wanted to1) remap thumb presses to the back buttons2) shorten the trigger pulls3) reduce hand strainRemapping on the controller is easy, and technically the trigger pulls can be shortened though not as much as you'd expect, but this is not a good controller for hand strain. The trigger tension is high and can't be adjusted, the grip is barely better than basic plastic, and though other reviews said the controller is small and light it isn't any smaller or lighter than a cheapo basic Xbox controller. It isn't possible to remove the rumble packs to make it lighter. Also the back buttons are super loud, and the D pad is weirdly difficult to press. When I tried to remap in game my PC didn't register the back buttons, so you can remap from the face but you can't use it for additional controls. Yes it's cheaper than other pro controllers, but it still doesn't seem worth the cost increase as compared to a basic controller.

Title: Great controller, good price, and AMAZING customer support!
Review: I love PowerA's Fusion line of controllers; I bought the Fusion Pro 2 a few years ago because I play a lot of FPS games and loved it, and I find the Fusion Pro 3 to be even better. The Fusion Pro 3 improved on it's previous iteration by changing the back paddles to physical buttons, which I find easier to use. I've gotten hours/days of playtime on this controller and would recommend it for anyone that wants to improve their gameplay (you never need to take your thumbs off the sticks now!).In addition, PowerA's customer support is top-notch. I emailed them that my controller cord was broken (it got snagged on something and the covering of the cord was cut), where I asked to have only the cord replaced. They instead sent me a totally new controller and cord, for free!! I'll be supporting PowerA in the future because of their quality products but also because of how awesome their customer support is.

Review: Owning a Pro Fusion gen 1 (which is what I am replacing) and comparing it to the new gen is really leaving a feeling of downgrade. The first gen used to come with 3 sets of 2 different thumbs, friction rings for the thumbsticks, 2 arrow times and metal paddles in the back. Now it's all plastic, only 2 individual thumbsticks and mine was defective out of the box as the LB button didn't click and doesn't recognize pressure sometimes. However, for the price, it's actually one of the best out there and honestly, powerA is still a good brand and the materials are still quite great. Giving it 5 stars just to support the brand, but it's really not what it used to be.
