Review: Firstly, i got a return item saved cash, only damage was the original box ... No problem.So! How does it work? Awesome! Nothing sticks to Porcelain plates! I mean nothing yet! Lol! But the food is way better tasting and more fun than work, clean up is easier than ever, because they are removable plates! So as all Waffle lovers know, we end up working more than eating time with family! This isn't about that, its faster, non stick with just oil in batters, and every kind i have used cook great and you can taste just Waffle not burned oils. So it's a item that can be placed on the table so as each comes out you can hand them... Plus be with everyone not in kitchen, trying too control everything that is not working properly! The temperature control is grea5, although its about how long you leave them more then not! Ready lights on both sides means your in control.. So if you wanna get way from Teflon coating problems like they don't work and health problems, this is the way of the future! I'm making them every few days now, not months! Yummy food moment!

Title: It makes great waffles
Review: We purchased this waffle maker to replace an older, similarly styled (flip) waffle maker that decided it was time to move on to the next life (that would be the recycled life or a landfill, wherever they took it). The old one was really nice, heavy, sturdy, and it had a light to let you know when the waffle was done. It's still available, but only for more than twice the $79.95 we paid for it a decade or more ago. This new one is cheap with plastic everywhere possible, but we knew that going in. Even so, we thought it was worth a try.We did opt for the copper color grills, believing they may have better and longer-lasting non-stick properties, and wanting to get away from the "flaking" black colored grills that more than one review talked about. It was a good choice... after about a half-dozen uses, we don't need to spray the grills as the non-stick is working well so far, and they appear to have a very clean and sturdy surface finish. The plastic housing is, like most plastic, annoying and unfortunate... I would have paid a little more to get some cheap but heavier pot metal in there someplace. Even so, it works... the unit may just slide a bit on the counter when using it because it weighs so little. And given the low price, I would not downgrade the review for this since it's expected.The only negative, and it's minor in practice, is that there is no "done" indicator, which is the reason for the four stars. This I didn't realize until we used it... it's probably in the description someplace, and we were just probably spoiled from our other waffle maker. So each waffle needs to be timed on a clock/watch/timer so as to get it done and not over-done. If slightly under-done, you can just close the unit again and give it another minute. The time will vary based upon the temp setting, the waffle mix and maybe the day of the week... I keep ours turned up high to get a more crispy waffle exterior and the time runs right about 7 minutes/waffle. It's actually fairly consistent in time.One nice feature is that it's easy to clean up, at least with the copper grills, and assuming you don't over-fill it badly. With a little practice on the first waffle or two, I was able to determine just how much batter to pour into it using a 1-cup measuring cup, and by pouring fairly evenly all the way around the circle, I had virtually nothing to clean up. If anything oozes out between the grills, you just leave it there until everything cools down and it comes right off. There's a nice removable plate that catches any larger overflow, but if you over-fill by that much, you just need to cut back. The grills clean up with virtually no effort. If you drip batter into the closing/rotating mechanism, that'll be tougher to clean out.Having this machine after our other one is like driving a 1992 Honda Civic vs the 2018 model... it's pretty basic by comparison and it feels a little cheap and clunky, but it still gets you to the dance.

Title: Truly non-stick and easy to clean
Review: I will never buy another brand of waffle iron! My daughter loves chaffles, cheese and egg waffles for those who haven't heard of them. They can be quite messy if you don’t have the correct type of waffle iron. I can never seem to get the exact amount, that doesn’t run over the sides. With this waffle iron, there’s absolutely no sticking, the plates remove, so it’s super easy to clean up.

Review: I enjoy waffles and have a few waffle specific cookbooks which I try out every now and then. I wanted a maker with ceramic plates but I was hesitant to spend the money on it so was happy to get one for Christmas! It's now several months later and I've used it every Saturday morning and a number of lunches with different recipes. This gadget is easy to use and easy to clean. If the grids are dirty they just pop off and are quickly cleaned. I like that the handle folds, it makes storing it take up less space.

Review: Encantado con la compra!! Como verdadero fan de los waffles y hot cakes... esta wafflera es maravillosa!! Super sencilla de usar, solo hay que conectar y escojer nivel de tostado... te cocina el waffle en 4 a 8 minutos (según tostado)... se limpia MUY FÁCIL, con un trapo humedo o removiendo las placas (No se pega nada!!!)... cocino DIARIAMENTE por la tarde 2 waffles (sí, soy adicto) y PUEDES USAR HARINA DE HOT CAKES REGULAR y salen excelentes... WAFFLES GRUESOS Y BIEN COCIDOS... ESTILO BELGA!! llevo más de 1 mes usándola diariamente y funciona perfecto (tiene un mecanismo super simple tipo tostador de resistencia) Nota: ES GRANDE, MIDE 44CM DE LARGO, 25CM DE ANCHO, 22CM DE ALTO expandida (el ancho disminuye a 22CM al remover el plato de protección de chorreo y el largo a 38CM al doblar el mango oara guardarse). Espero que a largo plazo funcione igual!
