How did we get started?

Founded in 2013, we had a vision of bringing the cafe experience home, but without the clunky equipment. We launched our first product, Duo, on Kickstarter.

Which product put you on the map?

Our iconic Stagg Pour-Over Kettle in 2014. 2 years later launched Stagg EKG, which has become the gold standard of electric kettles, used by champion baristas & home brewers alike.

Title: Lightening fast kettle with exact variable temperature control!
Review: I purchased this kettle for heating water for tea as I find the microwave to be more time consuming for brewing tea. There are a few things I like about this kettle:- Aesthetics: the overall design and the matte black finish is very sleek on the counter top. I do not like the visual look of bulky, plastic electric tea kettles. The traditional white plastic is garish and really jumps out on the counter top. The Corvo EKG Electric Kettle matches our counter tops (and even the toaster oven that it is adjacent to) quite nicely. As you can see from the photo, it actually blends in and has a very small footprint occupying very little real estate on the counter top. For size, you can see a meal kit 8.5" x 11" recipe card next to the kettle.- Speed: the kettle heats up insanely quickly - less than 2 minutes from room temp to boiling for my tea!- Variable temperature control: I primarily drink mint tea and the small booklet told me the exact temperature that I should heat water for this kind of tea. Who knows what temperature I was getting from my previous microwave approach! I suppose if I were to branch out to other kinds of tea, I now know the right temperature for those types. Also, it looks like they have a recommended temperature for brewing coffee. So, if you're a pour over kinda guy or gal, this electric kettle would work really nicely for brewing coffee and you wouldn't need two different electric kettles or pieces of brewing equipment.- The timer is built in so you don't have to set a separate timer on your microwave or Google Home (does anyone else's Google Home not pay attention to them when they call out a timer?!).Finally, I've also recently found a secondary use for our Corvo EKG electric kettle. I've replaced this with our (white plastic, garish) milk bottle warmer that we use for breast milk for our baby. It wasn't the primary reason for purchasing this, but when I unpacked it, I realized I only needed one of them on my counter. Now I can heat up water at the exact temperature that is recommended for heating breast milk so as not to reduce any of the nutritional elements of the milk (if you heat milk up too hot, it's not good for the composition of the nutrients). And, with the "HOLD" feature (basically, you switch a little button on the back of the base to "hold" at your preferred temp for 60 minutes), I can hold the heated water at the right temperature so if the baby wants more milk, I already have the hot water ready to go. Heated water from the electric kettle heats breast milk WAY faster than the traditional single-function bottle warmer. The Corvo EKG electric kettle is a no brainer if you brew coffee and/or tea, and if you happen to be heating baby bottles as well, you can use this in place of another kitchen gadget. Win win!

Title: a little race car
Review: I wanted an electric or stove top kettle attractive enough to leave out and this one fit the bill for me. I thought I was ordering the matte black option but instead discovered I had chosen the blue. I tried to cancel the order but it was too late. I'm so happy I was unsuccessful. I love the color. I thought it was going to be a cobalt blue but it's more a dark Prussian blue. I like it so much more than the black. In addition, the kettle is fast! I love that you can set the temperature. I haven't tried the timing function yet. It gets five stars from me.

Title: Perfect for my needs, could use an upgrade with notification capabilities
Review: Let's start by saying that I like nice things and will pay more for things that fit my lifestyle/counter space. This is not the cheapest product out there, but it also doesn't look like lab equipment or truck stop appliance like other electric kettles out there do.That said, this kettle is great - it heats fast, fits inconspicuously on my counter and my single lifestyle and, let's be honest, it's easy on the eyes with the design. If you want more bang for your buck, there are a lot of great options. If you are like me, this is perfect for you.One thing that isn't a problem for me, but just a missed opportunity for the brand - it should have a sound/notification for when water hits your desired temp and then one to remind you that it is still on or has turned off. This technology is not expensive or complicated, so it shouldn't be too hard to upgrade in the future for the company.That said, it has auto-shutoff and a timer to keep your water hot - it just doesn't beep at you.

Title: Don't waste your money
Review: Don't waste your money on this overpriced electric kettle. The design is defective and the lids falls off when you are pouring out boiling hot water! This is particularly hazardous for older people and if you have small children running around. Or for anyone for that matter that is near enough to kettle while you are using it.We have the same exact kettle with the wood handle and knobs, and comparing the two, the one with wood lid is designed different and holds it place. We purchased the second one for our vacation home but we have to be extremely careful using it.We were past our return date to Amazon, but I was able to contact the manufacturer -- Fellow. After responding that we should be using the Corvo, and I responded that this is the model that we bought, there has been radio silence although I have emailed their customer service several times. At this price point, I paid $140 for the kettle, they should be bending over backwards to make this right. TERRIBLE customer service. Please don't get fooled by them!

Review: This is a very nice kettle (as you would hope at this price) and heats a full kettle of water very quickly imo. I was a bit concerned about another review that mentioned that the little metal ring at the top of the handle (where it connects to the kettle) gets hot. But that is not the case on the Pro Studio edition with walnut handle at least. I did not find that ring to get hot at all. The handle, appears to be solid wood. The colour screen looks much nicer than the original mono-coloured one in my opinion.I was able to register it and get an extra year of warranty in Canada, even though the printed instructions says US only for the extr year.Only issue I had was that the app would not update the firmware (see App Store reviews). I don’t think that I’m missing out on anything, but yeah, their app has…issues.The pro studio edition is very expensive, but I figure you’re paying for the design, the schedule timer, the guide mode presets, the higher quality display screen, the nicer glass finish on the base and general build quality and a 3 year warranty. It’s definitely a luxury item in my book, but I like the quality. I don’t mind supporting a company that seems to be innovating and is not a copy cat company with questionable build materials named ZIGLOOGI or whatever.

Review: Worth the splurge! My last kettle was a stainless steel Black and Decker that finally broke after ten years. I was really hesitant to buy another one priced this much higher. However, I wanted something that looked great and look like it would stand the test of time. Ultimately, I ended up pulling the trigger on this one and haven't regretted it at all. The ability to set a temperature and set it to hold at that temperature is a really great feature, especially as I might not need all of the hot water at once and don't always want it at 100°. It heats up incredibly fast to boiling water in less than a minute and a half.
