Title: Powerful and very light weight
Review: Okay, I bought this because my gas powered Husqvarna took a s***. So my grass has been growing like crazy after the hurricane, my yard is a quarter acre and has a drainage ditch in the front with about a 2-ft drop. I live in Florida so that's about a pretty standard size yard and standard size drainage ditch. The lawn mower showed up basically ready to use all's I had to do was to extend the arms and tighten down 4 the connectors. To lock the handle in place. Now let me be clear, I'm a plastics engineer. The plastic used to make all the components on this lawn mower are either polystyrene or polypropylene. Which are the absolute cheapest and easiest to use in making plastic components. They will work, but you cannot expect them to have a long lifespan. And you have to protect them from the sunlight. If not they will get brittle and shatter after 2 years. The day I got the lawn mower I was absolutely brutal with the use of it. My grass had grown because of the hurricane. But I was still able to mow my lawn with basically one hand while my other hand held the cord for the electric power . The mower seems to have plenty of power to mow tall grass and is very lightweight. I seem to remember that the website said it weighed 35 lb, but it does not seem to even weigh half that much. Which is a good thing. You're going to hate the power activation handle that the mower has. First of all again, it's made out of that cheap plastic and is going to break in a couple of years. In the meantime, you have to hold it constantly to keep the mower from shutting off. If I had my choice I would probably use a zip tie and lock it open but that's unsafe. And while I don't care, I'm sure that there are those that would. The mower actually made short work of my yard. I was very, very pleased with how it performed. Definitely worth the money.

Title: Favorute lawnmower so far 🙂
Review: I laughed hysterically telling my cousin and my ex about this lawnmower. I feel like I beat the system or found a loophole and won the lottery. To make sure you understand the conditions I’m dealing with, let me start it by telling you that I weigh 95 lbs, I’m 5” tall, I lift weights almost daily and usually run a few mikes at least twice a week, and I have a yard that’s 99 ft x101 ft (I think that’s just the back… I don’t think that’s either side or the front). I live in the NE of the US so our summers range from about 71°-101° F I think. I live on my own and don’t think I can afford to pay someone to now my lawn every week.Long story: When I first bought my house in 2008, my mom bought me a gas push lawnmower (not self-propelled). It was a bit of a workout to use, but what was challenging for me was the pull cord which always made my sides hurt after a while or made me have to get my boyfriend to start it. I also didn’t know what amounts of the necessary liquids had to go in it or how to prime it. He had to oversee all of that. That pump button didn’t have instructions on it. After we got married, my husband started paying a crew to mow the lawn and got a Ryobi self-propelled electric mower for when they weren’t available. After divorce, my husband sold the mower and moved out. I spent $400 on a Ryobi electric push lawnmower of my own (not self propelled). I did fine with it and had to use I think 2 batteries to cut the whole yard. I have three for when the grass gets too high because of too much rain, too much overtime, or too much homework (I’m in school and I work full time). It could be an extra workout pushing the lawnmower after running 7-26.2 miles or lifting weights for 3 hours, but usually a nap just before was all I needed. About a month ago, the mower stopped working. It didn’t matter which battery I put in it, it wouldn’t start or it would start but turn off after a few seconds or a few minutes. I put it in Home Depot’s repair shop and was told it would be a month and a half before they could even look at it. My brothers have let me borrow their Ego self-propelled mowers a couple times since then. They’re nice but they’re also $800 and they’re heavy, so yay for self-propelled mowers, but I can’t afford to buy my own and my brothers’ mowers are hard to get in and out of a car. I decided to buy another cheaper lawnmower.I wanted one that could cut at the same 4” height, fully electric since I seriously injured my psoas a few times over the past couple years (same place) and can’t be fooling with a pull cord now. I needed it to be cheap otherwise I might as well not bother with the repairs of the other mower. This mower came up in my search along with the Fiskars Stay Sharp 18” push reel mower. A friend suggested I go with this one thinking that even with my athletic lifestyle, a push reel mower might be too exhausting to use regularly on my size yard. When it arrived, I actually picked up the box with one hand! After opening the box, all I had to do was lift the push bar into place and screw the bolts to lock it in position. I bought a couple 12 gauge extension cords, plugged it in, and it started right up. Pushing this thing feels almost like vacuuming. It’s SO lightweight. It makes a grinding noise when I let the trigger go and it sounds like something got caught underneath, but the manual mentioned this so I know it’s normal. This mower cuts better than anything I’ve ever used. The yard looks like I used a laser to cut straight across the grass. My only disappointment is that I only have one outdoor plug on my little old house. I’ll need more extension cords until I can get my ex to come over and teach me how to put in more outdoor plugs (he’s an electrician). Aside from that, I LOVE this mower. No need to recharge batteries, haul on pull cords, mix and pour in fluids, or anything. Oh, I do have to keep moving the cord out of the way, but after getting all those don’ts, what’s one do? This mower was inexpensive and does the job better than my two previous mowers with less exhaustion on my part. Long story short: I highly recommend this mower. To everybody.

Title: Got it and used it right away
Review: Hi everyone. So it arrived and so excited. Let me begin by informing you that my front lawn is small like 45 feet wide and 15 feet deep. My grass type is St Augustine and I’m located south west Florida. The grass was approx 7 inches tall with some bald spots due to the HOA landscaper cutting my grass like 1 inch high which burned parts of my lawn creating burn spots 😤 which is a big no no with this type of grass. You’d think being a professional landscapers they should know better. They also like to cheat and use the weed waker and getting it to almost to the root 😡 Why you ask? My guess is the shorter the grass the less they need to cut. Florida with the rain we get this time of year the grass grows so fast which means if they cut it at the correct hight for this season would mean cutting it more than once a week. That’s to keep it looking pretty and manicured. So this is why in saving my lawn I purchased this lawn mower. I like my grass thick and cut even so I like it cut about 4-5 inches tall in the summer time so that my grass runners can spread and continue to build it up nice like carpet lol.Now back to this lawn mower performance -My front lawn is 45 feet wide and 15 feet deep. Mowed it with no issues at all in one pass no carpet vacuuming motions needed. It’s light and handles nicely. Sound is pretty quiet which I’m impressed by because I can mow my lawn at night without bothering my neighbors. Impressive performance since my grass type is St Augustine which it’s a thick type of grass. I’m located south west Florida. The grass before mowing was approx 7 inches tall and I used the #5 setting which should be 5 inch hight. The grass looks great. It took me like maybe 10 minutes?Turned it off and headed to my backyard. My back lawn is like a strip is best way to describe it. It’s like 45 feet wide and 5 feet deep. Same type of grass St Augustine. The before hight was much lower like 3 inches because they just chopped up this back lawn. Anyways I plugged it in and right away the sound was different this time it sounded like it was spinning a lot slower. Started mowing reaching my 45 feet and bamb just stops. Tried to restart it and started but the sound I could tell it was weak in spinning power. The best way to describe it is if your using a battery pack tool and the power is low that the tool just doesn’t have the juice and you try to use it anyways and it just dies. It’s like that. Now it’s hot as F—- right now but I had to try it out and I couldn’t stand to look at my lawn that was getting way to long with these bald spots that are now even more noticeable 🤢. Plus I don’t want HOA to complain 😝The temperature outside is 90 degrees feels like 104 degrees as per my weather person. Time is 3:45 pm in the afternoon. Oh yes this is our peak time here in Florida. My guess reading some of the reviews the mower gets over heated? So I’m going to wait for tonight and see what it does. If it doesn’t work it’s going back. I really do not want to get a gas mower. I’ll provide you with an update.

Review: If preference is for corded mower then the LawnMaster ME1218X gets full marks. It is powerfully efficient at 12 amps and 18 inch cutting path capable of breezing through 6 inch grass length shaved down to the cutting length height stop (1 1/2 inches). It is ergonomically constructed and lightweight enabling least effort to get the chore of cutting done. It is bagless therefore cuttings are dispersed back into nature. An included side chute is easily attachable however the strong point is mulching.Edit — After 2 uses a follow up evaluation is warranted. Still holding the 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ yet a slight modification to the vinyl flap at the rear of the mower housing needs be removed. It is riveted therefore it needs be cut flush with underside of the deck. It serves no real functional purpose as to rotary action of the blade propels the cuttings forward. The detrimental positioning and cupping causes added drag when pushing forward. Ease of mowing is immediately noticeable when removed. Furthermore when pulling backwards and returning forward as often is required creates a cumbersome move with the flap dragging and folding. Therefore manufactures need rethink the placement and use of the flap. Not required IMO. Clean the small amount of residue mulch from the underside of deck immediately after cutting. A hand swiping is all that is required. If not removed and allowed to dry till next use then the mulch becomes almost plaster-like and needs be scraped and is time consuming. Needless to include — UPLUG!!! when hands are in such a vulnerable position as accidents are preventable yet happen when safety is cast to the wind. My opinion counters some of the negative reviews attached to this unit.Factory assembled handle is at the lengthiest option and consequently somewhat awkwardly high for persons of short stature. Therefore there is a secondary setting to shorten/slide down the length to a comfortable level. Without the adjustment the mower handle will feel disproportionally high. I'm almost 6 ft. in height and needed to lower the handle.

Review: Absolute waste of money. Not only did this lawnmower stop working after the first 3 minutes of being powered the grass looked like crap. Amazon customer service was the worst experience I had dealing with a return. I thought Walmart was bad... First of all, I called Amazon to ask for a refund on my last day to return an item. They offered a better option to take a picture and a handwritten note with signature and they would refund the item and consider it as defective(which it was) without any sort of return. A week goes by and still no refund. I was wondering what was going on? I then called them asking for my refund as promised by email. They told me that one of their "specialists" made an error and I wasn't able to recieve the refund (Patrick). I then asked about a return and they said sorry the return time is up. Like wtf Amazon? So after contacting at least 4 different agents they came up with a solution to accept the item as a return, but with a restocking fee. Are you kidding me? A restocking fee of 20% of a defective product. This company makes no sense. Stop living off a computer and do what is right. I have the emails stating I would be receiving an refund. Definitely won't be buying lawnmowers or expensive items from here again. Stick to your penny sales Amazon.

Customers say

Customers like the functionality, weight, and ease of use of the lawn mower. They mention it works great, is light, and perfect for medium-sized yards. Some appreciate the cut quality, saying it chops up the grass clippings fine. However, some customers have reported that the mower broke in less than 3 months.
