Title: Basic. Simple. Works.
Review: I've been wanting a toaster oven for simple stuff, like warming up frozen rolls, broiling an open faced sandwich, etc. Nothing fancy. Not looking to roast a chicken, bake a cake, etc. Just something for when a microwave won't do (you need crispy) and you don't want to heat up the whole kitchen by firing up a big oven (especially during the summer in Florida). This little appliance does the trick. Heats up instantly, no pre-heating. Melts the cheese on an open faced sandwich in just a couple of minutes. Has a crumb tray for easy clean up. The controls are super basic. I mostly use the toaster timer, which makes a hilariously retro ticking sound (apparently it uses an old-fashioned mechanical timer), and just watch through the glass window to see when things are done, since cook time is usually just a couple of minutes for what I'm doing. No digital displays or controls. Really basic. Which also means really inexpensive. Controls weren't immediately intuitive, but by "immediate" I mean that it took me all of a minute or two to figure out how to make the toaster oven do what I wanted. Simple. I already have a full-size oven for serious baking, so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars and take up a lot of counter space for a fancy appliance. This simple, small, inexpensive toaster oven is just what I needed -- basically a horizontal, enclosed toaster, just like I remember from the good 'ol days.

Title: highly useful and versatile!
Review: I required a short-term solution for a non-functioning oven and stovetop, and, not possessing a microwave, I selected this based on brand name and price, as well as advertised cooking possibilities. I wasn't sure how I'd like it with the analog buttons rather than digital settings, but I've been quite pleased with this appliance. It toasts, defrosts things in a short amount of time, cooks just as thoroughly as a standard oven, and accommodates a large number of different cooking needs, while not sacrificing counter space. It even sports an actual bell rather than a digitized beep once the timer has finished, and shuts off as soon as the timer expires, minimizing the worry about overcooking or not being able to quickly shut off the appliance while occupied elsewhere. I have it cook me a prepackaged toaster item for breakfast while I'm in the shower. I cook frozen burritos by setting it at lower temperature for ten minutes to defrost, and a higher temperature for roughly twelve minutes to thoroughly cook the item. I've toasted sandwiches, made grilled cheese, I even succeeded at air-fried potato slices the other day. It's surprisingly useful for the size and the price, I'm quite pleased to have it.

Title: Works as it should
Review: Nice little toaster oven. Purchased to replace a larger combo air fryer oven. Limited space for food due to size but will hold a couple slices of pizza or bread. Broiler function works well- watch your food! Good for reheating and toasting but I doubt I would use it to truly bake something.

Title: Fire risk!
Review: I liked it for its compact size and mechanical controls however those controls were not well designed. The toaster setting had to be reset every time you used the toaster. It was a guessing game to judge where you had previously set it. This resulted in many underdone or burnt toasts. Use EXTREME CAUTION when using the air fry feature. Never walk away from this unit while in use. And I mean never leave the immediate area. Due to advanced technology this little oven features high speed elements that become hot almost instantly.Again, the settings are a guessing game. While reheating some french fries I set it for 3 minutes and smelled smoke in moments. Thank goodness I had stayed right there doing dishes I could see smoke pouring out of the back end. I unplugged it right away but foolishly opened the oven door to see what was going on. In a flash the flames hot up into my cabinets and I was lucky to have a damp towel on hand from doing dishes. I dipped it in the sink then squelched the fire by throwing the towel over it. My house filled with smoke and alarms were going off in every room. Thankfully no real damage to my cabinets, just smoke film on walls and ceiling. I went out to the patio and had a good cry.

Review: I like this appliance because it is smaller than the previous one but still all that I need. It toasts both top and bottom of scones and bread, but takes some getting used to to adjust the length of the toast.
