Title: Works well for Midea
Review: I got this for my midea AC that i want to leave in for the window. Works well, as described. Keeps the outside condenser part nice and protected during the cooler winter months when not in use. Would be cool if it included a stretch cover for the inside part as well. I ended up buying another one of these that DID include the inside cover as well for the same cost as just the inside cover alone. So in the end because i got this one that didn't have the inside cover (at no cost due to reviewing it for Vine, I ended paying the same cost as getting two of the ones that included both covers anyway. Oh well...

Title: Perfect fit!
Review: I’m nervous about leaving my Midea ac in the window over the winter but I’m just too old and tired to move it back and forth every year. This cover feels super sturdy and fits like a glove, and the straps were really easy to secure around it despite the fact that I had to awkwardly lean out my second floor window to get them all around. No more anxiety, and I can get back to complaining about the youth (I’m 38)

Review: I don’t plan to use this cover over a Northeast Ohio winter since our Midea air conditioner setup is not nearly tight enough to prevent drafts. This cover won’t stop leaks around the window where I have to use plastic sheeting and clear weather-stripping tape to augment the Styrofoam et al supplied by Midea. Also, a fabric cover like this provides almost no insulation on its own. It might be useful over a winter in a milder climate but certainly not where I live. However, I knew all of that before I ordered it and I wanted a cover like this anyway. I plan to use it in spring, summer, and fall because we need to use the air conditioner only occasionally, even during the summer, and I thought it might be helpful to cover and protect the back of the unit for the many weeks when it is sitting idle. Having this cover will let me install the air conditioner earlier in the spring and remove it later in the fall so it can be in place for early or late heat waves, which are becoming more common. Due to the first floor location it should be easy to install and remove the cover when necessary. I was worried that installing this cover over the bottom of the air conditioner might be difficult because it means lifting the back of the air-conditioner slightly but that turns out not to be a problem. The first floor location helps. This cover fits our 10,000 BTU unit perfectly. The fabric does not feel heavy-duty but should be sufficient to the task.

Review: Not much thought into the product beyond a fitted cover at the right size. The straps are poorly positioned if you have a small window where the AC is and you can't reach outside. There's no way to feed the strap around the bottom through the legs of the supporting external mount. Unless you have octopus tentacles for arms?? Would have been way better if it was attached at the center or used Velcro of some sort to cinch it down, or even a rope that's already closed. I'd say the value for money is poor. Overall just a cover.
