Title: These well made sheaths are secure and non-marring.
Review: Hi. I am pleased with the build quality and “ease of use” of these well made kitchen knife sheaths. My knives slid smoothly into these sheathes and were all held securely by the felt-lined sidewalls. When inserted, the knives did not move in the sheathes at all. The 8”, 6” and 5” knives pictured above* have different shapes yet all fit securely (and) with zero jiggle and, importantly, zero scratches.I anticipate using these sheathes to safely transport knives to assist with food prep at family events over the upcoming holidays. And, for that purpose, I am confident that these well made sheaths will serve quite nicely.The takeaway: These sheaths do their job well for a very reasonable price.The pictured knives are: 8” Victorinox Fibrox Chef’s knife; 6” Victorinox Fibrox Chef’s knife; and, 5” Kramer by Zwilling utility knife.

Title: Great for Chefs
Review: I got these to protect and add safety to my work Knives. I've been a professional Chef for 23 years. I use these on all my chef knives as they both protect the knives and the chef. They seems to be holding up quite well. My only complaint would be that if the felt on the inside of these guards gets wet at all, the felt seems to start falling apart. Now there's not many reasons these should be getting wet to be fair, but none the less it is concerning. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars as they are affordable thankfully. I got a few of em for my multiple knives I carry into work and back out to my car frequently. Don't leave your knives uprotected Chefs!

Title: Cheap Insurance for Sharp Knives
Review: If you're like me and you have a drawer full of kitchen knives, this might be the thing for you. I have several large kitchen knives I use for preparing food that just sit in the drawer with other knives, and these sheaths are great for protecting the edges from wear and tear while in storage. They also keep me from cutting myself on the knives when I reach into the drawer. I love that these are so compact and easy to use. They don't add much volume to the drawer and are convenient to use. The velvet coating inside the sheath is a nice touch that adds protection and also helps keep the sheath from slipping off. I highly recommend these to anyone who stores their food prep knives in a drawer for your safety and the good of your knives. Five stars!

Title: Latch upside down
Review: The box is good quality, but the latch is misaligned and combination dials are installed upside down. It does work, which is the only reason I am not returning it. I recently ordered a similar product which didn’t have a functioning lock. So I can’t wait for multiple returns and replacements. For the price however it’s not worth it.

Title: Great protection for 7" santoku knife
Review: I'm very pleased with this clamshell-style knife guard/cover. It fits my 7" santoku knife properly, and it provides the right balance between being easy to slide on and snug enough to stay on well. The rigid plastic exterior is slightly textured so it's easy to grip, and the interior is lined with a soft material that feels like shorn velveteen to cushion the knife blade. I tried to pry the cover open to photograph the lining for you, but as you can see from my white knuckle and fingertip, the cover did its job and squeezed back.Before I found this knife guard through Amazon's Vine reviewers' program I had already ordered the top-rated knife guard reviewed on _The New York Times_ Wirecutter site. I'm returning that other one unopened because I'm so satisfied with this one. Not only do you get two of these covers for roughly the same price as that other, single cover, but that other one has a large, intrusive blue brand name on its front and a smaller but also annoying blue emblem on the back that I do not want to have to look at. These knife guards, on the other hand, are good quality, better looking, and an excellent value for the money.

Review: These ABS Knife Sheaths for kitchen knives are simple and effective. They stay on my kitchen knives without slipping off. They have a felt-ish lining to prevent scratching the blade. Title: do their job well
Review: These do a very good job of staying in place for an 8-inch knife. The lining is also soft so it will not scratch the blade (unless you somehow allow some grit to get in there).If you store your knives in a drawer without protection, you NEED something to protect them from getting knocked around. These do an excellent job of protecting the knife, and at a very reasonable price.
