Title: Usable, tasty, healthy. What more can you ask?
Review: It's a refreshing change to find a cookbook which doesn't disappoint! I am new to the vegetarian lifestyle. I have purchased several cookbooks which turned out to be 50% lecture, persuasive argument or factoid. I am visually impaired, and have been frustrated by this inclination. This cookbook is just what a seasoned cook, looking to branch out, needs. Beginning cooks could also use this with ease. From the well written (brief) intro, I have been nothing but happy with this book! The recipes fit right into my kitchen, availability of ingredients and need to cook for non-vegetarian family members without making two separate meals. The emphasis on actually health recipes is refreshing as I don't eat sugar. This is undoubtedly be a great resource for beginner and seasoned vegetarian alike. Recipes are well written and have great range. Kudos to the author!

Title: Lots of quinoa recipes in here
Review: This cookbook has basic vegetarian (not vegan) recipes. Some are Russian-influenced and I recognized more than a few that my grandmother, who came from Kiev, might have made herself. Beet and potato soup, cold cucumber soup with yogurt, and some mushroom dishes as well as the classic Salade Russe are in this book, though they aren't billed as Russian. However, many of the chapters start with recipes for quinoa, the high protein "superfood" from South America that cooks up like a fluffy grain and is gluten free. If you like quinoa, this book has some great ideas for ways to use it.This book has good soup recipes, so I'm happy just to have those new additions to my recipe book (ie, the Kindle.) If you don't like feta cheese or yogurt, and you want vegan recipes, this book is probably not for you. No recipe is very elaborate and none use anything you can't find in the average American grocery store.

Title: Good, but complicated.
Review: I found with this book, like many others, that there were just so many ingredients, many that I might use once, and then never again, that I probably wouldn't use it much. However, I am single. Perhaps if you had a family they would pay off more to use.

Title: Delicious
Review: I have downloaded many cookbooks onto my Kindle. This is actually the first one I have used to prepare a meal. This is also the first one I have kept. When I have looked through the others, I decided there really wasn't a single recipe I thought was worth trying, since it's awkward to use the Kindle and keep it clean on the kitchen counter while gathering and mixing the ingredients; so I deleted them. The recipes in this book were worth the risk. If you are vegetarian, you owe it to yourself to at least download the sample of this book. The recipes I have tried are quick, easy, and flavorful.

Title: GOOD RECIPES AND EASY TO MAKE
Review: With a strict vegetarian in our family, it is usually a bit of a challenge to come up with some new ideas that will spark an appetite and not be the same old, same old meals. I found this book to be very helpful in giving me some new ideas of what to make and serve when this vegetarian relatives comes to join us for a meal. Most of these recipes can be incorporated on a daily basis anyway, but I wanted it for some new ideas which it did give to me.

Title: vegetarian cookbook
Review: Lots of wonderful recipes. May not be enough to convince my meat eating hubby to go vegan, but enough to keep me full and satisfied.

Title: Not Useful
Review: The recipes are basic and unaspiring especially for the price. Soup recipe examples: potato, pea, mushroom, cauliflower, bean, zucchini, and pepper soup recipes. Salad recipe examples: coleslaw, Greek, macaroni, potato, carrot, lettuce, caprese, spinach, and bean salad recipes. The recipes have few ingredients, can commonly be found on the internet, and have no pictures. The print is huge like the print used in early childhood readers, perhaps because the ingredient list and directions are so brief.
