Title: Ordered twice, broke twice
Review: The first one I ordered the handle broke the first time I tried to close it down. They sent me a second one for free l, which was nice, however that one broke after the third use in the exact same way. There's no strength in the lower handle and the bread dishes are so shallow that there's no room to clamp the unit down the way it's designed.

Title: Nice sandwich maker!
Review: When I was a teenager, we used to have one of these sandwich makers and I have not seen them since. I decided when I saw it this year for Christmas that I needed to get one for my teenagers. So far my son has made grilled cheese sandwich and a spaghetti sandwich. It works very easily and it toast the bread perfectly. On this one there’s even a little green light which tells you when your bread is perfectly toasted and ready to be removed. You can choose either leave the sandwich together or pull it apart very easily. If this is a great sandwich maker.

Review: I took off one star because the handle broke within the first week I had it. I've made some really yummy sandwiches with it. It's easy to use and cleans easily. I would recommend toasting your bread before you make the sandwich because in my experience, the bread would get soggy from the inside out. Toasting the bread helped. One of my favorites to make is with apple slices and brown sugar cinnamon butter (1 stick butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon). Butter the outside of the toast too because it makes a nice carmelizing effect and the instructions say a little sugar on the outside helps with crispiness.

Title: Good item, but material could be better
Review: This sandwich maker is a good product overall and very practical for quick meals. We make delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna melts, and even omelets in no time. I love its compact design, which takes up minimal counter and cabinet space - perfect for my small kitchen.However, I was disappointed with the sturdiness of the material. After just two weeks of use, the device broke, which was frustrating. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent! They promptly replaced it, which I really appreciated.While it’s a convenient and good item, I hope the durability improves in future versions.

Title: Don't waste your money
Review: Broke one first use. Only a few slices of thin meat and 1 slice of cheese I go to shut it and the plastic handle broke off so I held down the top best I could to at least get a somewhat toasted sandwich out of it. Pure waste of money!

Review: We’ve tried making “toasties” made from a slice of cheddar cheese, sliced smoked ham and multigrain slices of bread in this sandwich maker and the handle broke, trying to close the latch on the bottom handle. You can see from the pictures where the weak points are. The wall thickness of the plastic shell is 1.45mm at its breaking point. From experience the minimum wall thickness should have been at least 2mm.If you want to use this product, do not press down on the handle, instead wear oven mitts and press down on the main body. Not sure if it’s worth sending this back for an exchange.

Review: Love this sandwich maker for the three days i had it, made amazing sandwiches. I think any maker would do the same. I put too big a sandwich in it and tried to squeeze it down. The maker blew up into a bunch of shards and big parts. It’s garbage after three days. Mostly my fault, but definitely don’t recommend if to want a big sandwich squeeze into a delicious pocket
