Title: Great guide for a UP wasteful trip!
Review: This was a great guide to waterfalls on our trip to Michiganâs UP! Great directions, amazing photos! It helped us prioritize what waterfalls we wanted to see on our trip. Iâve lived in Michigan my whole life & did not know that this many waterfalls were in our upper peninsula!

Title: Great guide for planning and during a waterfall viewing trip.
Review: We ordered this book as we were planning a trip to the UP with waterfall viewing as a primary part. This book is laid out well, with different regions and more information on each place than we expected. This book helped us change our plans with more focus, we just finished four days in the UP and our trip was better than we expected. We will be using the guide to plan future trip(s) to see the rest of the UP for sure. Thanks for your dedication and effort to create this book, I'm sure it was a lot of fun work to produce.

Title: OK book with caveats.
Review: Thw book covers the best waterfalls in Michigan that are generallly accessible by the public. l used this book a few days ago to locate a number of the wterfalls while on a family vacation. I do have a few complaints about the book. First, the numbering system and ordering of descriptions is not helpful. It was not useful when selecting a route to visit the various falls. Second, the trail description to Yondota falls claimed a fair pathway, when it was too rough for us older hikers to even reach the falls.

Title: Beautiful, helpful, knowledgeable, well-written!
Review: I love the trail descriptions and honest photo comments. Weâd like to visit all of the waterfalls (who wouldnât!) and this book has narrowed down our choices to what we can realistically get to with our group. The photos are beautiful! I would like the map be be just a little bigger so I can have a better perspective on the locations. I also like the color coded page of must see, etc. Three colors keeps it simple for us! Overall, this book is essential & very helpful in planning our trip.

Title: An excellent guide to help you navigate the Upper Peninsula
Review: We purchased this guide to help us plan a recent two-week vacation to the Upper Peninsula. Thanks to its excellent directions and descriptions, we found many beautiful and relatively obscure waterfalls to visit, many off the beaten track. Since two members of our party had injuries (bad knee, sprained ankle), it really helped us evaluate which waterfalls were "doable" for the entire family, versus other waterfalls that we split off into groups.SAFETY TIP: I recommend you ALWAYS purchase a good trail map of whatever area you are going into, even with a guide book such as this. The national and state parks all have excellent trail guides for free or a token fee to cover the printing cost.
