Title: Fantastic kitchen tool
Review: Yesterday I was thinking while sautéing onions in my instapot for potato soup, that I’d write a review for this wonderful piece of kitchen equipment. I’ve had three other IP’s in the past and this is my hands down favorite! I love how wide it is and not as deep. It is easy to use, and this new model has a safer release valve. BUT, I placed it on my stove to let the onion smell go up the fan and did not know my back gas burner was on very low!!!!!! You can imagine the scene that I only noticed when flames erupted. Sheesh! All is well in the end. But not for this wonderful IP. It melted into the cords and now I have to decide if I’ll punish myself for being stupid or take the plunge and buy another one. All to say that this instapot is worth every penny. It’s awesome!

Review: I am in LOVE with this Rio Instapot. I love that is lower and wider than the regular one. You can fit a whole chicken in here. Everything comes out perfect. Highly recommend it!!!!!

Title: Game changer!!
Review: Personally I’ve never owned an instant pot and never worked with a pressure cooker so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I bought this because my guy and I work long hours so we don’t always have a lot of time to spend cooking.Well, I must say, WOW! I made a beef birria last night and in one hour it was all done. I used the sauté function to give the meat a once over and then I switched to the pressure cooking function and added the sauce I made for it. It cooked for 45 minutes, pressure released for 10 and voila, DONE! Probably one of the best birrias I’ve made thus far. So much flavor! I also pressure cooked some beans and those were also done in about 40minutes.This instant pot is pretty bulky so I was concerned it wouldn’t fit in my kitchen but no biggie I was able to store in my pantry perfectly! Besides the size only made it easy to serve and dig around for the meat.I have not tried any of the other functions yet but so far I’m loving the pressure cooking function, slow cooker, and sauté function. I absolutely love you can delay cooking also. Overall I am very satisfied!

Title: Wonderful product
Review: Needed to replace a very old 8 qt IP. Was initially wary to try this new multifunction IP/slow cooker. SOO glad I gave it a go! Have used it every day, in several different modes, since receiving it and can honestly say it is wonderful!My only complaint has nothing to do with the product but rather the shipping company. This product was not boxed for shipping. It was sent in it's original maufacturers box rather than being packed for shipping.

Title: Great replacement of old Instant Pot for soups and large dishes
Review: I like the design. Looks great and can hold a whole chicken on its side. Practical solid improvement. The one drawback is that the ON/OFF button is hard to read and see the first time. After one time, we got used to it so it's not a deal breaker or even worth taking off any stars. 5 stars.

Title: Great size
Review: I have a different InstantPot and two other pressure cookers but I like the wideness of this one. It is larger across the bottom to accommodate more pieces of meat when browning. It also makes stirring things from the bottom easier. The standard IP features are available on this also. Only thing missing that I really miss is the tab on the lid and a slot to set it in on the top edge. It is a big lid and takes up a lot of space when not on the pot. I got a burner cover so that this stays on the cooktop 24/7. It gets used a lot.it in on the side
