Title: Excellent add-on bidet, great value
Review: Summary: Great value for the price, really good plumbing parts, only one minor quibble (mentioned below).Like other reviewers, I was spoiled by the availability of bidets and toilet-mounted hand-sprayers while traveling overseas. Upon returning to the States after several years living abroad, and not having enough money for a full-on bidet fixture or one of those expensive integrated bidet seats, I bought another model and used it while we moved from one rental house to another. The problem is each time we moved and I took the bidet attachment with us, the plastic toilet tank fitting would become harder and harder to install without leaking. Finally after we settled down in what we hope will be our home for the next several years -- and being unable to install the old bidet without leaks, despite teflon tape and a lot of effort to get it screwed down tight -- I decided it was time for an upgrade. I looked specifically for ones with better water feed attachments. Funny thing is, the Luxe Bidet Neo 180 cost only a few bucks more than I paid for the older one, but the quality is much, much higher. This one is the two-sprayer model (fore and aft, so to speak), but cold water only. Hot might've been nice, but I didn't feel like dealing with that much plumbing, plus I'm used to just cold anyway. (Trust me, unless you have totally uninsulated pipes, it's really not bad at all. Need reassurance? Take a glass of cold-only tap water, right as you turn on the faucet. Pour it across the inside of your wrist. That's pretty much how it feels on one's bottom.)The box in which the Luxe Bidet Neo 180 arrived was well-packed and the installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I'd estimate it took me maybe 30 minutes to install, but some of that was taken up with uninstalling the old bidet attachment. I was also being extra careful in doing the installation. Tools needed/used: A couple of wrenches, a flat-blade screw-driver, and a multi-tool. Some teflon tape to help ensure leak-free fittings.Pros:- Included two braided water lines of exactly the size needed.- The fit on our elongated bowl was perfect.- Easy to get both sprays hitting just the right spots. The aim was perfect as far I'm concerned.- The rocker-style valve also makes it easy to get just the right pressure.- Applying to all bidets of this type: It drastically cuts down on the use of toilet paper.- I've also heard that bidets like this are highly recommended for those with hemorrhoids or similar problems, to decrease irritation and promote cleanliness.Cons:- I wish the water feed T-connector wasn't plastic, although I'll admit I was able to get a solid leak-free connection on the first try. The top problem with these bidets is if that T-connector goes or is worn out due to moving it from one location to another, I have yet to be able to find a replacement at any home improvement store. I really wish I had a spare, just in case.Tips:- Place a bowl or plastic basin under the toilet tank to help catch the water when disconnecting the old pipe, and just in case there are any drips after installation. (Oh, and don't forget to (1) shut off the toilet water supply before starting, and (2) flush the toilet and hold down the lever to ensure the tank is completely empty before disconnecting the water feed. Otherwise it'll get messy.)- I left the basin under the tank with a dry paper towel in the bottom for 24 hours after installation, just to be 100% positive I'd achieved a leak-free installation. (Success!)- To help ensure the sprays are dead center, use the circular rotating seat fittings (through which the toilet seat screws go) as a guide -- they should be at exactly symmetric rotation with respect to each other. For example, if the top of the left one is aligned at the 11:00 position, the right one should be at the 1:00 position.Would I buy this product again? Yes, although given how easy this one was to install, I might've opted for the cold+hot water Neo 320. Still, I'm happy with the Neo 180. Would I recommend it to a friend? Sure. The only proviso I can think of is it's probably best for a DIY-capable person, because unless you already have a plumber in doing a bunch of work, pro installation would easily cost much more than the bidet itself.

Title: I wish I had gotten one years ago!
Review: I'll just come right out and say it: I love my bidet.I'd never had one before, and I don't think I'd ever even used one before I ordered the Luxe Bidet Neo 180 back in February, but I was lightly acquainted with them all the same. After experiencing an unfortunate bout of bathroom frequency that left certain areas of skin fairly irritated (ahem) this winter, I decided to research them in earnest. I was surprised by the affordability of the conversion kits; after seeing several makes and models in a reasonable price range, I started looking more carefully at reviews and features. There were several contenders I considered at my price point, but in the end I chose the Luxe Bidet Neo 180. I had decided I didn't need hot- and cold-running water lines and the less plumbing I was getting myself into, the better, but the main selling point to me was the dual-nozzle feature. It was the only model I came across in the same price range with this particular feature and this sealed the deal for my purchase. A review from a woman who appreciated having the second jet available really resonated with me and I thought it made great sense. (I admit that this feature may not be terribly helpful for men, but I think other women might appreciate it as much as I do.)I was a little concerned about the reviews stating that they couldn't get the bidet to install properly with their plumbing and/or their existing toilet seats, but I saw similar issues with just about every product out there. I think that if you have a fairly standard toilet setup and seat, you'll be okay. If not, you may run into trouble. Full disclosure: I know nothing about plumbing, but I thought my plumbing looked to be fairly straightforward for this exercise. My toilet seat was a fairly standard model from Home Depot, so I decided to give it a shot. Your mileage may vary.Once ordered, the Luxe Bidet Neo 180 arrived promptly and was decently packaged. No issues there. The box is clean and inviting and the contents are arranged well within it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and it was pretty easy to see how it should all fit together. I like to think I'm fairly handy (I enjoy putting together furniture) and this didn't seem at all difficult at first glance. The installation itself was easy even without previous plumbing experience. So easy I did it twice, in fact (more on that shortly). Having said that, I can't promise it will be for you; a lot depends on your bathroom layout and how easy it is to get to the pipes you need to work with.At any rate, I had no trouble turning off the toilet's water supply. I had a bit of a time trying to remove the existing water supply line - mostly due to the fact that I didn't have the right wrench for the job initially - but once I got it off I was able to install and assemble the bidet quite quickly. Unfortunately, this attempt was doomed to failure as I had not used waterproof tape on the pipe threads during reassembly, but once my husband acquired some for me (along with a decent wrench), the tear-down, taping, and reinstallation took less than half an hour and worked fabulously. I was in business. USE WATERPROOF TAPE, FOLKS. Learn from my mistake. (That is my only suggestion for improvement for the manufacturer: include a small roll of waterproof tape with the installation kit, and save us the trouble of having to go out and get some when we aren't sure whether or not it's necessary.)Now, some advice for using the bidet:-- Make sure the dial is set to the position you want before you lift that handle. I do use both settings and often forget which one I've left it on. Let me tell you, it is a surprise when the "other" jet kicks in than you were expecting. (And it can lead to a urinary tract infection, ladies, if you get blasted in the wrong spot at the wrong time.)-- Lift that handle SLOWLY. Our water pressure is not good, but when the handle is fully open that little stream of water can pack quite a punch. Sometimes you want this, and sometimes you don't. Just start slowly until the pressure is where you want it to be.Things I like best about the Luxe Bidet Neo 180:-- Affordable price point-- Dual nozzles, for front and back targeting-- Self-cleaning option-- Easy installation with the right tools and knowledge-- The fresh, clean feeling I have after using it. It's starting to ruin "regular" toilets for me and I often find myself wishing there were bidets everywhere.Things I don't like as much about it:-- No waterproof tape included in the kit-- The handle and the arm it's mounted on feel a little delicate to me. I haven't had a problem with it, but I'm worried about the day my 3-year-old son decides to go play with the shiny lever when I'm not paying attention and pulls too hard on something. It just seems like it might be very easy to break (though again, I have never had a problem with it after 6 months of use).Would I buy it again? Yes, absolutely. I would give them as presents if my friends wouldn't think I was a lunatic for doing so. ("It's a what? For your where?") I don't know how well other brands stack up against this one, but I wholeheartedly recommend the Luxe Bidet Neo 180 to anyone out there who would like an affordable, easy-to-install kit that really works. Thanks for reading!

Review: I'm based in the UK and this did not fit in between the toilet seat and bowl. It caused the seat to shift to one side and actually ended up ruining it. It's not seamless at all as they say. What they don't tell you is that to fix this issue you have to buy their specialized LUXE Bidet Luxe Toilet Seat for £100.... which is a complete joke. If they made that clear from the start it would have saved me ruining my toilet.

Review: I bought this item just before Christmas 2016. We had a problem fitting it in the UK due the vary sizes of the T adapter/fitting. Upon leaving feedback the customer service department contacted me quickly and offered to send me a new T adapter with equal size fittings which is more ideal for the UK. Some people have commented on the plastic T adapter being of lower quality but I don't think they understand how to judge if plastic is good or poor quality. I find that plastic modern plumbing in the U.K. is doing very well. Less rusting, less soldering, better all round but that's my opinion. Anyhow customer service can not be faulted and the ingenuity behind making a quality yet cost effective product is great. I could not update my previous comment so here is my update with four stars. Four stars because I have yet to fit the part. But as soon as I have I will update my comments and hopefully give this 5 stars.

Review: First, a tip: Get the 'white' model rather than the blue! The differences are subtle but the white is classier in my opinion since it blends in with the toilet and seems less like an add-on or accessory. So, this is one of those rare products that makes me want to buy one for everyone I know. Given the low price & high quality, there is no reason why any home should not have one. I think many people (like myself until recently) just don't realize this product exists!--- Installation ---Very fast and easy with just a screwdriver and pliers (search bidet neo 180 on youtube to see various homemade installation and product demos). The hoses and connectors it came with seem to be of high quality. The basic idea is to add the Y-splitter to the water supply line that attaches to your tank, so that the same water supply that fills your toilet's tank also supplies the bidet. It took me less than an hour, and I had fun installing it.--- What's it like to use the bidet? ---I feel like it's a revolution in hygiene. You'll walk away from your toilet actually cleaner than when you arrived. Also, since this transforms toilet use into a cleaner experience, I've noticed it increases the household's willingness to talk about toilet hygiene in general. The spray-activating lever allows for easy control of the water pressure. The dial makes it easy to choose between self-cleaning, 'female' mode, and normal mode. There's not much else to say. We leave it in self-cleaning mode when not in use, so that (1) if the lever got accidentally activated the spray wouldn't go all over the room, (2) we run a 2-second self-cleaning before each use just got hygiene's sake. The part of the bide that drops down into the toilet is quite subtle, it doesn't really go past the rim. I thought it would get dirty but so far it really hasn't (which makes sense, since the rim of our toilet rarely gets visibly dirty).--- Which neo bidet model? ---After seeing a very fancy, expensive, electronic bidet in a friend's house, I knew I wanted a bidet, and based on very low pricing and reviews, I knew I'd get a non-electric bidet from Luxe / neo, but which model? I chose the 180 because:- Spray is activated with a lever rather than a dial, which I think is more intuitive and user-friendly!- It has a "female" setting that I thought my girlfriend would appreciate (which she does!).- It has a self-wash setting which eliminates any concerns one might have about the nozzles getting waste inside them, even though they are behind a protective plate and only pop-out when the spray is activated (Again, good for my girlfriend who is more concerned about germs than I am. She loves it.)- No hot water supply, which I thought would be unnecessary and also too complicated to hook up.--- Cons? ---It would be nice if it came with the metal Y-splitter that is available through amazon separately, since that has a water-pressure dial to adjustment the bidet's blasting power. But I appreciate having the option to pay extra for this, rather than having the extra money built into the price from the beginning. At first I thought I'd want it, but now that I'm used to the device I think it's unnecessary. Just pull up on the lever softly to control pressure (another reason to get the model with the lever rather than the dial).
Customers say
Customers appreciate the ease of installation, cleaning ability, and value for money of the product. They mention it's simple and straightforward to install, works well, and helps people get clean. Some are also happy with the design. However, some customers disagree on the water pressure and leakage.
