Title: Very happy this book exists!
Review: I am so happy this cookbook exists (and in Kindle form)! I have gone through to bookmark numerous recipes in it that look tasty and that I can't wait to try. I also generally have had good experiences with Taste of Home recipe results, so I figured I'd give this cookbook a try. I eat meat, but I would like to cook more vegetarian meals for health reasons and because touching raw meat to cook is often icky to me. I appreciate that the recipes in this book are not fancy foods and weird combinations of foods you've never heard of, but they are instead vegetarian meals you actually want to cook and eat on a regular basis. The first recipe I tried was the pressure-cooker chickpea and potato curry. It was outstanding! To me, that recipe is worth the price of the book. It will go in my recipe rotation. Yes. I know you can find their recipes online. But their vegetarian recipes are scattered. It is great to have them all collected and stored in one place on my Kindle version of this book.UPDATE: I've now owned this book for about two more months. I have bought several vegetarian cookbooks recently, and this is the one I use most. I cook something out of it at least once a week because I get good results and the recipes are not too time-consuming. I have tried the Southwest Tortilla Pie (which I turned into quesadillas), the Zippy Egg Salad, the Tuscan Portobello Stew, the Zucchini Tomato Frittata, and more. I haven't had a disappointing meal from it yet. My favorite so far is the Black Bean Sweet Potato Rice Bowls. My boyfriend is a "Where's the beef?" kind of person, and even he has raved about some of the recipes, especially the pesto gnocchi. I'm looking forward to trying more!UPDATE: I've now owned this book for almost 11 months. In that time, I have come across a few misses among the recipes. However, there are still many more that work well. It still is probably my most accessible of vegetarian cookbooks with recipes that are easy to put together. I'm still glad I bought it.

Title: Helping a meat loving dad go meatless
Review: This book caught my eye because of its claim to help a meat-loving family go meatless. Without seeing the inside, I am always hesitant to buy cookbooks, but I am very happy with this purchase. As a family who cooks a lot of Tex-mex foods and home style meals, these recipes are really going to help the transition between comfort food items to meatless comfort food. I I really appreciate that it doesn't throw you into the deep end of vegetarianism but introduces family favorites with high proteins alternatives. There is a lot of different recipes (including easy to make, I'm a huge fane of 5 ingredients or less), bright color photos, and educational material for nutrition with non-meat options. My dad and I have done keto for a number of years now which has been such a positive improvement, but has also emphasized a need to have meatless options, even though keto/ low gi relys on high protein. My dad is a person who has always been a meat and potatoes sort of person, and these recipes have given us a lot of options for retaining his favorite recipes with alternatives that taste good.

Title: Recipes with ingredients I have
Review: I rated this 4 stars rather than 5, because I just started using this cookbook 2 weeks ago. I love the dinner recipes because they have a picture of each item, they require ingredients that I have in my house, most of them can be prepared in 30 minutes, they list nutrition information and they taste good. I have also looked at the breakfast recipes & hope to use them in the winter months.

Title: Best Vegetarian Cookbook!
Review: When my son came home from college as a vegetarian, I scrambled to find delicious meals for the family. After buying a few other books, this one became our go to recipe book. The meals were basic, everyday foods with common ingredients. They were easy to make and the family loved them. I have several recipes that have made it on our favorites list even after his return to school in the Fall. Highly recommend!.
