Review: Another great book from HCG101. Their products are always of the highest quality, filled with great information, and full of color pictures. I can't wait for the next book to be released, it will be a guaranteed buy from me.

Title: Good book for video game fans but has some minor problems.
Review: I was really looking forward to getting this book because I've been a fan of Hardcore Gaming 101 for awhile. The information in this book is mostly top notch but I did notice quite a bit of grammar and spelling mistakes in the short time I read it. My biggest gripe is the quality of the printing though. On many pages the text is hard to read because it seems like it was blurred or doubled. I'd still really recommend getting this if you are a big fan of classic games or the Hardcore Gaming 101 website.despite it having issues.

Title: Good book, print version is so-so.
Review: It's nice to be able to open this book and browse through classic game favorites. It was not quite what I had expected -- check the dimensions before purchasing. It is smaller than I expected for the price, and printed on lower quality stock, though the printing itself is colorful.

Title: Different than Kindle version
Review: This book has a great line up of games. Just beware though, this book is printed on cheap paper and is in BLACK AND WHITE! The Kindle version has colored pictures while the book does not. If you're looking for a good quality book don't buy this. Get the Kindle version instead.

Review: Wer eine "ernsthafte" Liste der 200 besten Spiele mit erwartbaren Klassikern wie bspw. Tetris, Civilization, Ocarina of Time oder Metal Gear Solid erwartet könnte/wird hier vermutlich etwas entäuscht dreinblicken. Ich für meinen Teil wäre wahrscheinlich beim lesen eingeschlafen, wenn ich zum drölfzigsten mal die Storys von Alexey Pajitnov oder John und Adrian Carmack vorgesetzt bekommen hätte.Deshalb habe ich mich wie ein Honigkuchenpferd gefreut, als ich beim schmökern neben berechtigten Einträgen wie Tie Fighter oder The Last of us auch über Kleinode wie Dreamweb, Batsugun oder Chronicles of Riddick gestolpert bin.Wer also begeisterter Retroarch User (wie ich) ist oder generell einfach Spaà daran hat Hidden Gems zu entdecken, wird hier bestens bedient.So. Und jetzt zocke ich Shadow of the Ninja weiter...

Review: Una selezioni di 200 giochi che vanno dagli albori dei primi videogames a titoli più moderni (2015). Si può essere più o meno d'accordo con l'autore, in quanto questi sono progetti che vanno dall'amatoriale al semiprofessionali, molto validi ma non sempre attendibili. Comunque sia è un bel libro che ti permette, non solo di rivedere ciò che già si conosce, ma di scoprire titoli che in precedenza non conoscevo o mai giocato. A differenza degli altri libri della hardcore Gaming 101 questo è in bianco e nero e non a colori. La versione in pdf dovrebbe essere a colori, ma nel dubbio chiedete all'autore

Review: I'm obsessed with gaming - especially obscure japanese games and this book opened my eyes to some titles that even i hadn't heard of before. the writers of this book have impeccable taste and it's actually a list of 400 of the best games ever (not 200) due to the fact that every page has a footer with an alternative title to try out.I read this book cover to cover which is something I never do usually. The hardcoregaming101 website is also amazing.
