Title: Just do it!
Review: First, I read the book. It is loaded with researched and invaluable information, never mind the short chapter on the liver cleanse. It is illuminating to say the least and will help you to put aside your fears and doubts. I read every review online, over 300. There were a small handful of detractors most of whom hadn't done the actual cleanse. Then I went to Andreas website and read that. Just looking into his healthy, glowing eyes, smooth skin and dreamy face is enough to convince one that this man is extremely healthy for his age ( and taken ) I was now ready to proceed with the cleanse. I have a multitude of symptoms from chronic fatigue to fibromyalgia, psoriasis, poor digestion, overactive bladder, failing eyesight, dry skin hair and nails etc... I worried about having pain, being alone, getting sick from the olive oil and grapefruit juice and other possible side effects but soldiered on regardless. The prep was a breeze, only having to give up animal products which I eat sparingly anyway and having to drink apple juice. I also have candida so I opted for the malic acid from a winery ( resources at the back of the book ) It came promptly. The day of the flush, I had a smoothie in the am and steamed beet greens with quinoa ( I don't eat rice ) Fasting until bedtime is easy with the unexpected benefit of being filled up by the olive oil and grapefruit juice. I personally liked the way it tasted! The epsom salts is not delicious but at only 6 oz per serving, it is very do able. Going to bed by 10 pm was the hardest part for me but I managed to fall asleep and if I was a good sleeper, would have no doubt slept through the night. I had no discomfort at all. I must admit to feeling quite toxic by morning and didn't want to drink any more epsom salts but it was a small price to pay for my enthusiasm of feeling better! I really thought it wasn't going to work and felt increasingly terrible until finally at 9:30 without much warning, I made my first trip to the toilet and much to my surprise and delight there, staring back at me, floating, were many jelly bean size, caper size and sesame seed size emerald green gallstones!!!!!!!! I was fascinated and thrilled! This happened 13 more times over the course of the day ending around 8pm. Make sure you have no plans or responsibilities the day after, i cannot stress this enough. and if you think you are done, think again! In the end, I passed about 100 stones, not bad for my first flush and I intend to do as many as necessary to clean my liver. Right after the first elimination, I noticed improved eyesight! I had no expectations at all except that I didn't think it would work much less bring better health on the first try. The following night, I slept through the night with the exception of one trip to the WC, a real miracle for me. I usually rise 3-4 times. I did not have a colonic before the flush but did so 4 days after. Next time, I will definitely do colonics at both ends as I do not want to risk having a congested colon which can trap stones that toxify further and leach into the bloodstream.I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful book and subsequent experience. I will update my review each time I do a flush. I found that very helpful while reading the reviews.

Title: The most important thing you can do.
Review: I would like to add this review in the hope it clarifies the flush process for current and future liver flushers.I just completed my 17th liver flush after a year and a half of abdominal pain and a diagnosis of cholestasis and gallstones. I also had a variety of secondary symptoms, including brain fog, worsening vision, skin problems, and so forth. At this point my symptoms are greatly improved, although I still have a ways to go to regain my health.Andreas Moritzâ book is an excellent resource. The liver/gallbladder flush he describes is an updated version of an older procedure that has been around for at least a hundred years, if not longer. Andreas added a preparatory week involving a vegetarian diet and malic acid supplementation. Other than that, the flush is basically the same as the previous version. Andreas also describes the reasons for doing the flush, and how liver/gallbladder congestion creates health problems. Important reading for first time flushers.Things I have learned after 17 flushes:-The flush is absolutely real and it is high time this âsoap stoneâ nonsense be abandoned. I wonât waste time explaining all the reasons why.-The malic acid and vegetarian diet described in Andreas Moritzâs book are unnecessary and prohibitive. Just eat reasonably the week prior and donât worry about âsoftening the stonesâ which isnât actually a thing. If you are worried about the composition of gallstones, Iâd recommend taking TUDCA and/or stone breakers (both can be purchased on Amazon) but these are not necessary. What is necessary is a shift in overall health, including a whole foods diet, which should optimally include grass-fed organic protein, eggs, and sustainable seafood. Keep in mind that the gallbladder literally evolved to help digest animal foods, and that bile is composed of substances most readily found in meat, seafood, and eggs (taurine, glycine, choline, etc). Do your research. If you want to go vegetarian, be careful to supplement with bile precursors, especially taurine and choline, and eat plenty of plant-based fats to help contract the gallbladder. In saying these things I am not making an ethical statement about diet. I am simply telling you how the body works and what you should focus on if you want your liver and gallbladder to function optimally.-Do follow the basic day-of flushing protocol described in the Moritz book, at least initially. This is identical to the older protocol (see curezone) and good practice for beginners.-Epsom salts produce a strong osmotic removal of the bodyâs water into the digestive tract, resulting in dehydration and loss of electrolytes. For people who wish to avoid the negative effects of epsom salts, replace them with an equal amount of magnesium citrate (Natural Calm brand is good) taken with a capsule or two of turmeric powder. Like epsom salts, magnesium citrate dilates the biliary system, allowing for the safe passage of gallstones. Turmeric contracts the gallbladder (clinically proven to do so) the same way epsom salts contract the gallbladder. This is a safer method, not to mention far more palatable.-The basic combination of olive oil and citrus juice cannot be improved upon. Increasing the amount of oil to 6 ounces is not harmful, and may help to facilitate the process for certain individuals. Decreasing the amount of oil may result in an unsuccessful flush.-If you have decent motility (you poop easily once a day) enemas and colonics are not necessary. There is an unnecessary amount of fear around gallstones getting stuck in the intestinal tract. If you are worried, a simple water enema will help to clear the colon before and/or after the flush. Otherwise, normal bowel activity will move the stones out within a day or two. Note: do not do a coffee enema before the flush, as this will deplete your bile reserve, possibly ruining the flush. Afterwards is fine.-Expect some flushes to go more smoothly than others. Expect some to fail, even though you followed the instructions.-Although Andreas Moritz suggests maybe 12 flushes to clear the liver and gallbladder of gallstones, the real life experience of the flushing community has been far different. Most people flush between 15 and 30 times before experiencing significant health improvements, and some continue flushing up to 50 times or more, before feeling satisfied that they are âfreeâ of stones. Furthermore, the gallbladder may only begin to expel stones after 15 or more flushes, due to its unique physiology (itâs an inverted sack with muscles that weaken due to cholestasis, and must be exercised to regain its contractility). These gallbladder stones are often harder and tend to be calcified, or in some cases, like white putty or old chewing gum. Their calcium content is what allows them to be seen on X-rays and ultrasounds. Stones from the liver are almost always cholesterol stones, in shades of yellow and green, and are like hardened wax (they cannot be seen using imaging technology). Regardless of the composition, all of these stones must be removed, sometimes requiring years of effort. This is not to dissuade anyone from trying, but please understand this is a long-term but PERMANENT life saving journey. Be prepared to flush the liver/gallbladder at least once a month for 2-3 years. Seasoned flushers may increase the frequency to twice a month, after becoming familiar with the process.-Please disregard anyone who claims the liver flush doesnât work or is a hoax. This includes such esteemed authors as Anthony William. Heâs right about many things, but wrong about the liver flush. If you want to fast track your health, Iâd liver flush while following a sensible (not extreme or faddish) whole foods diet.Good luck, and happy flushing!Adendum:The attached photo shows two kinds of gallstones expelled in the same flush. The small green one is made of cholesterol, most common and found in the liver. The other three are compacted material with a consistency of putty, opaque, white, most likely from the gallbladder. Notice that the green stone is smooth and round, while the others are faceted, rough, and furrowed, as if compacted together. I believe we are way beyond any discussion of "soap stones" when we begin to see stones that cannot come from olive oil and citrus juice.

Review: Everyone is a skeptic - but I have had amazing results from this process.Over the past year, I have been to the emergency room 4 times with chest pain, heart palpitations, abdominal pain and swelling, and chronic constipation. The doctors were never able to pinpoint what the root cause of my issues might be. I have had a chest x-ray, CT scan, ECG, blood tests, urine tests, etc. and everything always ended up "normal". But my issues persisted. I have been on elimination diets, removing diary, gluten, animal products, etc. etc. Nothing was helping me. Then an ER doctor diagnosed me with GERD and put me on PPI's. The PPI's (acid blockers) did nothing to stop the pain and bloating. Then I went to a GI Specialist and had an endoscopy and was informed that I had moderate gastritis, a hiatal hernia, and a gaping LES. Every step of the way, I have been proactive about making healthy choices and modifying my lifestyle and diet to support healing. But the problems persisted. Finally, the GI Specialist wanted to do an ultrasound on my gallbladder. So, the next step was for me to have an ultra-sound because this doctor told me that gallstones don't always show up on CT scans. While waiting for the gallbladder ultrasound, I stumbled upon this book. I read the reviews and decided that I had absolutely nothing to lose at this point. The pain and pressure was enormous, I was fed up with going to the hospital only to be sent home and told that there was nothing to help me.So now, I have done this liver/gallbladder cleanse several times. Yes, the stones are real. The feeling of relief is unbelievable. It's like letting the air pressure out of a tire. My body is finally healing. I am releasing these stones, getting my energy and vitality back, and committed to doing this cleanse regularly.Read the entire book before you do the cleanse. Follow the instructions. Ignore the naysayers.Your body will thank you, and I am so thankful that I found this book!!*PICS - The green stones are from the first flush, the giant brown stones are from the second flush. I've also had hundreds of tiny yellow stones released from both flushes. More green stones and tiny yellow stones came out on the third and fourth flush.UPDATE: Nov.11/22 I'm still doing the cleanse 6 months later, and YES, it's still working. I also feel AMAZING!!!!!

Review: I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I have completed 3 flushes so far and had at least this many (pictured) stones were released each time - plus hundreds of tiny ones. The salt flush can be a challenge (yuck) but it's definitely worth it! You can actually feel your body purging itself, it's quite bizarre. Try it, you won't regret it.
