HOW TO USE: *DO NOT USE WITHOUT ALUMINUM INSERTS* Water has to be added (IMPORTANT) before using the Egg Pod. Never use without water. First, remove the Eggpod Lid. Find the included measuring cup and fill with water to the 50 mL line. It is very important that this measuring is accurate to ensure proper cooking of the egg. Pour the water in the Eggpod. Next, place 4 eggs into the Eggpod and replace the top lid and lock side snaps in place. Cook eggs in the microwave on high for 9 minutes.
COOKS TO PERFECTION: The mechanism of the Eggpod is so simple because it’s basically using microwave to boil water, which in turn steams the eggs. Simply add water, and set your timer to 9 minutes and cook on HIGH, to yield perfectly-cooked hardboiled eggs. Measuring cup comes included. But If for any reason you lose the water measuring cup, a water line indicator can be found directly inside the Eggpod.
MULTI-PURPOSE COOKER: One of the special feature of this gadget is it can peel eggs. After cooking, shake it at least 10 times to crack the outer shell and make peeling easier. Aside from cooking eggs, this gadget can steam other things such as small potatoes and sweet corns. The best part of steaming food is it creates a minimum of mess, does the least damage of nutrients to vegetables and preserves the flavor and color of it.
SAVES SPACE and EASY-TO-STORE: The Eggpod measures about 6 inches (15.24 centimeters) tall and 7.25 inches (18.41 centimeters) wide and is easy to carry around or lift, and can be placed anywhere because it doesn't occupy much space, whether in the cupboard or just displayed on the kitchen counter.
EASY TO USE AND CLEAN: Comes with directions that's easy to follow and will make the preparation hassle-free and quick. It's also made of dishwasher-safe material that can avoid damage caused by dishwashing liquid and cleaning.

Review: The Egg Pod works exactly as described and shown in the TV commercial. But you MUST use it properly and follow the instructions.EGG EXPLODINGIf you put an egg in a regular container in the microwave, it will explode. The reason that Egg Pod works is because the eggs are enclosed in aluminum that blocks the microwaves. The eggs are actually cooked from the steam and not microwave radiation. There is a bottom aluminum insert that the eggs sit in and a top aluminum insert that fits into the top plastic cover. YOU MUST USE BOTH INSERTS! If you look at any of the pictures of an exploded egg, you never see the complete product. That is, the top insert is always missing in the pictures. Of course, the egg will explode!If you use the product as described with the top and bottom inserts assembled (which are well marked), the eggs will not and cannot explode.COOK TIMEThe product is designed to make hard-boiled eggs. Soft-boiled eggs will be too soft for the shake and peel function. 9 minutes is an average cook item for 4 eggs in a standard microwave. You can adjust by 30 second increments to cook the eggs exactly how you like them. I have an 1100 watt microwave and 8 minutes is perfect for me.COOLING & PEELINGYou must cool the eggs for 2 minutes before peeling. The cold water makes the egg contract and makes peeling of the shell easier. You can run cold water for 2 minutes, or simply add fresh water and add ice cubes, then wait 2 minutes.Do not remove the water/ice before shaking. The water is necessary for the peeling process.Shake firmly, up and down, 10 times. If the shells don’t fall right off, it’s because you didn’t shake it hard enough.I use my Egg Pod every day and love it. It’s fast and easy. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.Follow the directions and you’ll have the same experience.

Review: Seriously folks, I love this thing. It works exactly as advertised. Follow the instructions and you should have no problem. I actually bought 2 of them. One for home, a second to use in our restaurant kitchen in the Caribbean. We live on a small island and most of what we serve in our restaurant is local grown, raised, or caught in our waters. Because our eggs are so fresh they are difficult to peel when hardboiled. They say fresh eggs should be steamed to easily remove the shell. This egg pod is brilliant! 10 mins in the microwave, and when cooled, the shells peel right off! It's been a huge time saver for us, not to mention it leaves us with an entire egg, not bits of it due to the white pulling away with the shell. I recommend this to anyone who hard boiles eggs on a regular basis. I especially recommend it for anyone using farm fresh eggs.With that said, my only complaint is that the aluminum insert on the lid does not hold in place well. Im always having to reinsert it.Anyway, its a great egg cooker, especially for the money. I suggest you give it a try. Oh, be sure to use it according to the directions! As someone before me posted, the size of the egg does matter. If I leave the cooker in the microwave longer than 11 mins, it over heats. Follow the suggested times in the instructions.Another writer posted problems getting bits and pieces of shell out of the bottom section if you use the shake method. Well, simply tug on the yellow ring and remove the bottom metal dish to clean it out. Once its clean simply snap it back into place. I clean mine after every use!

Review: When I first saw this product ad on TV, I thought it would make breakfast easier and quicker and since I do devil eggs, I thought it would be just what I needed, so I ordered one. In the beginning it worked great for about five months, then it began to overcook the eggs and would not stay together.I can't return it after a year, but it wasn't overpriced, so I feel I got my money's worth for the time I used it. I will not reorder one, but it doesn't mean it will not work for someone else.

Review: 2-20-2023, 9:52 p.m.Our Microwave has never given us trouble, but, now that I used this Eggpod ONCE, it has caused the Microwave to not make food or beverage as hot for the normal amount of time. It has DEFINITELY reduced the operative capability of our Microwave, and I am VERY upset about that!You need to make good on this: I expect a refund for all 3 Eggpods I purchased and about $70 for the Microwave so that we can get another one to replace it!That should amount to about $110 total. I'm not happy about having to deal with this, but I will accept that as sufficient reprisal for a very bad outcome from your product's usage as instructed!Amazon is not to be charged for this; the Eggpod manufacturer is indebted.Please manage this Amazon!
