Review: I love a corded mouse. No batteries to have to buy or charge. No lag. No real chance of losing it. My son dropped my old mouse and it stopped working -- we're still not sure how that happened but he upgraded my computer so if I had the pay the price for a new mouse, it's worth it in the end.

Title: Works fine, prefer the original design
Review: I purchased the new version over the original because it was cheaper, arrived a few days earlier, and I had just returned a different, smaller mouse because the chord was too short. Next time I’ll shop for the original design.Scrolling is a little loose, though I like that it has the click and drag option for the wheel.Installation was plug-and-play. The responsiveness was a little too snappy at first, but that was an easy fix in the computer settings.Chord length was standard, which is better than some of the other new HP mice. It was able to wrap under and into my laptop on my standing desk.Size feels a little small (I’m only 5’6”), but I’ll get over it. The grooves make it feel small because it restricts the orientation side-to-side you can comfortably use the mouse.I like the clicking sound the three buttons (left, right, and wheel) make, as they provide audio feedback that you made a selection. It may be a little loud for a library or study group, but I like it for my use at home.
