Review: Bought it in order to be able to make photos and shoot videos at the same time.This holder is a great idea, and I wish it was sturdier and may be slightly bigger. I have a large phone and this holder can't hold it securely, especially with a phone case on.

Review: The whole unit is plastic. Getting the arms to fit your phone and lock into place is not easy and nearly break the arms each time I try to clamp it on the phone and I’m not confident in it holding it securely. Would have returned but didn’t item out to try in time.

Title: Does not hold phone securely
Review: I expected to like this, but it has a critical flaw: it will not hold my phone securely. Several causes: the interior of the back of the frame protrudes into the space in which the phone must fit, making the ability of the top and bottom grips for the phone marginal. Further, the adjustable top grip seems to have defined stops, so it does not grip the top of the phone firmly- it is either too wide or too short. It does fit the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but it does not hold it securely, I am returning it and have replaced it with a SmallRig metal unit which has a secure clamping process.

Review: I purchased this to mount a cellphone and Canon EOS R to the DJI Ronin S for active-tracking and while it worked well enough for that purpose, I am not convinced about the quality of this unit. I'm still on the lookout for a cheap version of the DJI mount, as it looks a lot more sturdy. I can see this Ulanzi unit breaking because the clamp is a bit clunky and removing the phone wasn't effortless. But it's early days. Let's see how we go. 3.5 stars
