Title: Not an easy get up to speed quickly piece of softwareâ¦
Review: My issue began with my previous use of Filmora 12 with my GoPro Session camera. I recently purchased/upgraded to a GoPro 11 Black. The session is HD and the 11 is 5K (4K). This is where the trouble starts. My PC works fine with the HD files but my M2 32GB RAM MacBook Air with 2TB SSD nearly fills the drive during the encoding process. After a few YouTube videos on the subject I âthink I have toâ use the âProxyâ mode of encoding to stop a ~100GB of videos from ballooning to 1.5TBs of video before I even work on it. This, so far, has only been glossed over in the book and not funtionally. Iâm sure there is more value to this book like the workflow aspect and the editing that I havenât gotten to yet, hence, 4 Stars. Iâll revise my opinion when I get through the book but the âFinal Cut Proâ learning curve is steep!

Title: Do not worry about how it displays on Kindle Basic or Paperwhite Signature. It's perfect.
Review: This review is strictly about how the book displays on the regular Kindles. A lot of times, references look so bad that I had stopped buying them for Kindle. I took a chance on this one and I am glad I did. The book displays just fine on my Kindle Basic and Paperwhite Signature. The screenshots are in line with the text and can be seen clearly.

Title: GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!
Review: This E-Book is a lifesaver!!! I have had Final Cut Pro for a few years and have not been able to get anywhere with it. I am a musician, and I am trying to make videos of my music for promotions. I would try making a video and somehow, I would hit the wrong button and not know how to fix it and start over. I purchased this E-Book, and it has changed my outlook on how to make a video. The chapters are arranged in order, and I have no problem finding any content that I need. I am as illiterate on the computer as a caveman, and this is a must-have for Final Cut Pro users. 10 out of 10 reviews!Rich

Title: A Video Editor's Approach to Video Editing
Review: As a professional video editor with over a decade of experience and a preference for Final Cut Pro, I was naturally drawn to this book - especially with all this talk lately of switching to Resolve. I thought I'd pick up this book as a way of speeding up my workflow instead. For me, the best part of FCP isn't its bells and whistles, it's how fast I can work in it. This book took that to a new level. It's great for beginners, but as an advanced user I found many nuggets that I've put to immediate work.As video editors, we get jobs by being fast as well as good. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to up their game. Ian Anderson also has a long history of writing fantastic FCP tutorials and they're usually pricier than this. Highly recommended. The biggest thing I liked (and have shared) is starts right with setting up your project - something I find most of us self-taught editors miss out and I learned much later into my video editing career.Ian Anderson's expertise shines through in the book. It's evident that he knows Final Cut Pro inside and out, and his practical insights are invaluable. His real-world examples and tips are particularly beneficial for professionals seeking to streamline their editing processes.Again, highly recommended. Finished it in about a week, and have sections marked to go over again.
