Title: For any level of home cook
Review: Lots of options for holiday meals. I like how easy many not the recipes are to make GF or remove nuts due to allergies and celiac disease. I flagged several recipes in this book.

Title: A "must have" book.
Review: I was very pleased with this book. It has covered all the traditional holiday dishes with updates reflecting 2017. Plus many more that look amazing.I went through the whole book last night and marked almost every recipe to try. Great tips on how to prepare some ahead of time. This is exactly what you want when planning holiday meals. I shall use this all year so when holiday time comes I will not being trying these for the first time. Excellent book. I plan on buying a few and giving them to my grown daughters for ChristmasI am not a novice cook, I have over 700 cook cooks in my collection. I belong to a cook book club, where we use cookbooks for three months and then do a dinner. What I look for in a cookbook is, explanations on the recipe, photos of the recipe, tips on advance prep if possible, moderate amount of steps and ingredients. This book checks all the boxes for me. Also it is the perfect size for holding and my cookbook stand, the pages stay open when you put the book down on the counter. I do have the hardcover edition, not the kindle edition.

Title: Not what I was expecting- basic
Review: I was watching a great holiday cooking show on PBS by America's Test Kitchen. They had some unusual recipes on there, so was excited to see the whole book. I ordered what I thought was the companion book for the tv show. This is not. These are basic holiday recipes for a beginner. It says, "Cooks Illustrated" on the cover not ATK. If you aren't an accomplished cook, this would be an appropriate book to make some nice standard dishes.

Title: Wonderful Winter Recipes
Review: I love Christmas cookbooks and this is one of the best ones in my collection. Most of the recipes are traditional. For example you find out how to cook things like roast turkey and hams. The instructions are clear and detailed and there are pictures that show the finished dishes. There are no step by step photographs if you want those. I highly recommend this book.

Title: Good recipes and nice photos
Review: I am a big fan of America's Test Kitchen. This book has some duplicate recipes found in their other books but is still worthwhile.

Title: America's Test Kitchen just doesn't put out a bad cook book
Review: America's Test Kitchen just doesn't put out a bad cook book. I have their bread cook book and it caused me to fall in love with baking bread so I thought I'd grab this right before Thanksgiving to get ideas. Tried their Herb Roasted Turkey recipe and it blew our minds it was so good. I get compliments on my turkey every year but my way of doing it was nothing compared to their recipe. Also, the truffles were a hit and there were tons of great recipes for all of the end of the year holidays. If you host ANY holiday meals this book is a must have. The only critique I'd offer is that some of the recipes would benefit from more pictures (like they have in the bread cook book) but honestly it's a small complaint.

Customers say

Customers find the recipes in the book to be delicious and easy to make gluten-free or remove nuts due to allergies. They appreciate the nice photos and mention the book is useful for the holidays.
