Title: Good product
Review: Great product. But keep in mind you can not play the game from this external drive on PS5. You can save games and etc. But if you download a game, you will have to move it to the PS5 hard drive before you can play.

Title: Almost what I needed
Review: I recently purchased the Seagate Game Drive for PS5, and while it’s a solid external HDD, I wish it had been clearer in the description that you can only store PS5 games on it. You cannot play PS5 games directly from the drive, only PS4 games.That said, the drive is reliable and offers ample storage for my gaming needs. It’s a good solution for expanding storage, but keep in mind its limitations for PS5 games.

Title: DO NOT BUY FOR PS5
Review: This product is falsely advertised in a couple ways.1 - It does “work” with a ps5 in that it will connect with the ps5 and it can but used for storage, but only storage of ps4 games. IT WILL NOT STORE PS5 GAMES.2 - Even with ps4 games, you can only STORE them. They will not run from the hard drive, you have to reinstall them to the console for the games to actually play.I did not test this product on a ps4, but for ps5 it is an absolute waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Title: Impressed but could be better
Review: Easy to use. Copy and moving ps5 games from and to your console is quick and easy. No downloading hours to wait. Ps4 games are stored directly to the memory. Most people had misunderstood that ps5 games has to be downloaded and moved back and forth in order to utilize all its space. So, yes it is compatible for ps5 and ps4. That's the only gimmick. Which in my opinion, it's a hassle, but worth the memory. They should make ps5 only hard rive so you don't have to copy and move back and forth .

Title: More Space is always better
Review: I would have bought an internal HDD (the 2TB WD- Black) but I went ahead and bought this due to pricing and amount of storage. I now have over 20 games saved to this drive including all of my game captures. I have only one drawback: you're moving games back and forth. I'm not worried about corrupting saves as it seems pretty straightforward forward DO NOT UNPLUG from your PS5 (safe eject feature available when planning to store or move console). However, If I want to play a game that has 150 GB that is currently not on my internal drive, I have to move over (or previously delete) 150 GB worth of games to the Seagate and then copy the one game that I want to play. The copy process (moving the game back to the internal) takes a few minutes (10 -15) as you skip the "hard download" you would normally get from downloading a game as it is a local download and not a wireless download. The drive looks cool, isn't that much of an eye-sore as it is hidden from my view, and after much use, would pick this option again as it freed up a lot of space from my internal drive, which had a way higher price point then the drive along with less storage. Recommend it to anyone looking to boost their storage situation as we all know 1TB is NOT enough when new games average 80GB - 150GB a game.

Title: Whoa, this external hard drive is a game-changer (pun intended)!
Review: I was getting so frustrated with my PS5's storage limitations, but this Seagate Game Drive has been a lifesaver. I can finally store all my games and still have room to spare! The design is sleek and compact, it's so easy to take with me on the go. The blue LED light is a nice touch, it adds a bit of flair to my gaming setup. And the fact that it's officially licensed by PlayStation means I know it's going to work seamlessly with my console. The transfer speed is super-fast, I can load up my games in no time. And with 5TB of storage, I can fit all my favorite games and still have room for new ones. I've got all my PS5 games on here, plus some PS4 games that I still like to play, and I've still got tons of space left over. The setup was a breeze, just plug it in and go!
