Title: Best of the Best
Review: A truly marvelous telling of the men and women who were there, started it all and were true national treasures. There is at least one chuckle, a couple of smiles and a laugh on each page. There are 48 pages of pictures too. SO glad I ordered it. It came as advertised and I may order another copy so I can keep one and pass the other around. This is truly a book to be shared and re-read.

Title: The creation of modern show business
Review: I loved all of the stories that George told about himself and his friends...and as he says if there weren't true, they were show business true. Insights into really big names like Bob Hope, Danny Kaye, Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor and insights into some performers who aren't as well known today, but were huge in Vaudeville, radio and early films. I recommend it to anyone interested in show business history, or just history, or just show business. It's a great read!

Title: All My Best Friends
Review: For those with an interest in American comedy from the Vaudeville era in the early part of the 20th Century to present day film and TV, this book is a tiny gem. If you are interested in the behind-the-scenes stories of comics such as the Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and others that had to make the transition from the live stage to radio, and then TV, this book is a must read.
