Title: Better than Rush Hour
Review: This is a wonderful game that will seem familiar to people who like the game Rush Hour. One still has to move pieces around to free a red piece up to slide off the board, but in this case, the pieces not only are different sizes but also may have 45 or 90 degree angles in them. The colors are vibrant, the pieces look and feel very appealing, they are high quality, they are large and generally easier to manipulate than in Rush Hour, and the patterns are in a booklet instead of on cards, so it is easier to make sure that you are proceeding from simplest to hardest. That said, this is not really a car or bus travel game, although if the child is pretty good about not dropping things, it might work on an airplane. There are about eight playing pieces and two important plug pieces, and the game is maybe 8" or 9" square. The booklet is separate (not attached) and the child needs a place to put the pieces that aren't in play at the moment.

Title: Anti-Virus
Review: As far as this solitary puzzle, I would think it is fun in the sense that it challenges you sufficiently. However I stress that it is rude and ornery. I personally cannot get past the Junior level. You really need good strategic planning in advance. The good thing is that all the puzzle solutions are provided. It is hard to call it fun when you are barely successful beyond the Junior level. But I can tell you one thing. This puzzle is no joke!!! Part of you will not be able to put it down. However if you still are up for challenges you can attempt some later. It will not simply collect dust on your shelf. I can say for certain. And I am not so discouraged that I will give it away or sell it. SmartGames puzzles are rather fairly challenging. You will never get bored. I own IQ Twist and IQ Fit. I was fairly successful in those pentomino-type games. However this game needs good strategic and sequential planning. Although it is rude and ornery I personally want to pick it up later and try to come up with a solution.

Title: It really is for 7+ years
Review: My daughter adores logic puzzles and has eight of them now, seven of which are made by SmartGames. I recently went on a bit of a buying spree because we had an 18-hour car ride ahead of us (and 18 hrs back) plus her birthday is next month. This review is to address something I didn't see in any of the reviews I read--and granted I was in a bit of a hurry--which is the appropriate age range for the games as they compare to one another, ie if you are deciding between games.IN MY EXPERIENCE, the lower end of the age range is most appropriate. For example, Night and Day is listed as 36mos-6 years but my girl who turns five next month does the puzzles without having even to think about them. In other words, no challenge whatsoever. We just bought it and already it's obsolete.Luckily, inside one of the games was a "US Collection" brochure which lists all SmartGames and their target age. If you are hunting around for a logic game and aren't sure where to start, use this chart. And yes, they really are this age-specific. I can see an obvious progression in required thinking/logic skills between a recommended age 3 game, a recommended age 4 game, and the recommended age 5 games. (And no wonder she's not interested in Anti-Virus--it's for seven-year-olds! Something I failed to notice as I got caught in the "clicking around amazon" rabbit hole.) Anyway, here is the info from the catalog:3+ Day & Night3+ Castle Logix3+ Trucky 33+ SmartCar4+ Camelot Jr (we have gotten hours of play out of this one)5+ Bill & Betty Bricks5+ Color Code5+ Pirates Hide & Seek5+ the GoGetter games 'Cat & Mouse' and 'Prince & Dragon'(These are exactly the same game just themed differently.)5+ Magnetic Travel Waterworld5+ Magnetic Travel Magic Forest5+ Magnetic Travel Busy Bugs5+ Magnetic Travel Noah's Ark6+ IQ Fit6+ IQ Twist6+ Aqua Belle6+ North Pole Camouflage6+ Penguins on Ice6+ Chicken Shuffle7+ bendit7+ Temple Trap7+ Anaconda7+ SmartPhone7+ Safari Hide & Seek7+ Road Block7+ Cannibal Monsters7+ Anti-Virus7+ Troy: Outside The Walls8+ MetroVille8+ Traffic Control Airport8+ TitanicAs always, I love the learning component, the progression in difficulty of the puzzles, and the quality of the games! And most fit back into the box (Bill & Betty Bricks, Camelot Jr), are self contained in that the board is also the case for the pieces (Color Code, Pirates, Dog & Cat), or come with a little zipping bag (Anti-Virus). Day & Night does not have any kind of container and the box doesn't work as a container, so that is a bit of a bummer.Specific to Anti-Virus I would like to add that my girl, who will turn 5 next month, likes moving the pieces around and fitting them all onto the grid and by inventing her own games with it, but she is really frustrated by playing by the rules. Definitely for an older child. Also, by all accounts in the reviews it seems that the advanced challenges in the 7+ and 8+ games are fun for adults, too, so remember that although they are 1-player games they can be played by the parents and the kids! Oh, and one more thing, while the pieces are fun to hold the game play noise is really clacky so I don't recommend it for the car!

Title: Awesome game
Review: My 8 year old son and I love the challenge. I love that it keeps his mind moving when school is out. He nearly beat the whole thing on the first day. Iâll have to challenge him soon to get another piece out. Def must have.

Title: So different from Rush Hour
Review: This-one person game is fun, especially if you're into ThinkFun's Rush Hour, which has the action move horizontally and vertically. The pieces in this game can only move diagonally, and cannot be rotated. There are two white circles which cannot be moved when they're used in one of the challenges. The game is well-made and has likeable colors, and the pieces move easily in both diagonal directions. Some challenges seem unsolvable, but when you DO figure it out, it brings a smile, like, that was so easy! Or, why did it take me so long? I was pleased with this purchase and if you like Rush Hour, you might like this, too.

Title: all age puzzle
Review: Picked up the first game at a local big box store and my daughter loved it so much I bought two more, one for our house. The game seems is easy to pick up but increasingly challenging to master, with dozens of levels, all related to manipulating one colored piece through a "maze" created by the unique game board and the limitations imposed by the other pieces.A great game for car trips or simply sitting around the house, with others or alone. The classy bag holds everything. Definitely keep the book, which has challenges and solutions.
