Title: Can a small town, with their traditions, create a second chance romance
Review: Eliza Carter and Grant Parker were in a high school romance then Eliza breaks it off. Grant moves out of the small town of Poppy Creek but Eliza stays. She and her best friend, Cassie, are remodeling their bakery but that is not the only thing playing on her mind. Her son, Ben or âBug,â is about to be held back in school plus she is helping Cassie plan her wedding. Grant has not been able to get Eliza out of his mind so risks a great deal by returning to Poppy Creek for the wedding. Though Eliza has not gotten over Grant, him showing up unexpectedly back in town throws her for a loop. What will happen should Elizaâs secret surface and will they have a second chance at love? Can Eliza risk Grant finding out his mother threatened Eliza to get what she wanted for her son? I enjoyed the banter between Eliza and Grant, along with the realistic tension and emotions. Wouldnât have Elizaâs mother asked her reason for keeping the secret? Grant finally matured enough to confront both his parents so he could be happy. My only slight disappointment was I felt the ending should have summed up more about Eliza, Grant, and Ben versus the next bookâs characters. All in all it was a great read and I recommend it if you want a relaxing, clean, enjoyable read.

Title: Wonderful, Beautiful, Tender Story!
Review: What a fun book to read. This book had so much yummy stuff, and also things that were very touching.I loved all the moments between the two main characters, all the banter, and all the tension. The author truly brought emotions into this book that the reader could identify with.It was a delight to read and I actually read it in one day. Now I might pick up and read more of the stories of the other friends in this series. This is a new for me author and I found I enjoyed her writing style and the way she made things so relatable to the readers.Iâm glad I picked this book up and now will be on the lookout for more of her books.

Title: Sweet Second Chance Romance
Review: Ever heard the expression come to a place to visit and never leave? Well, I think it should be, Come to Poppy Creak to READ and never Leave. This is the second book based in Poppy Creek and while you can read each book as a stand-alone but who would want to do that? We met Eliza Carter and her precious son Ben in The Clause in Christmas and this is their book now. BUT more so than that, this is a book about the town and all the quirky fun-loving characters. I think that is the reason I simply can not put down the books once I start reading them. Each book tells a story about characters, this time we are getting Eliza, Ben, and Grant's entire romance. But not only that we get to see the town through their eyes and how life has changed them. Good, bad, or not at all. Author Rachael Bloome has an amazing way with words that allows me to see this beautiful town and all the quaint shops and yes delightful people. I want to pull out my paints and start painting them right now myself.

Title: Sweet and Heartmelting
Review: The cute and adorable cover and title of this book caught my eyes then the super romantic, heartwarming storyline. I was intrigued from the start. This story has everything: a bit of a mystery, secrets, love, romance, dessert, coffee, friendship and more that kept me intrigued the whole read.Grants feelings for Eliza never faded away even after she broke his heart after unexpectedly breaking up with him for unknown reason. It was also the same for Eliza. Her reason for breaking up with him was heartbreaking. They were young and fearful.Grant's effort to become friends with Eliza again was the stepping stone to earning her heart. In the process he bonded quickly with her son Ben. Who is Ben's father? I started to put the puzzle together as I read on and I was surprised at what caused the break up. It was a cruel and malicious secret. The way the story ended will make you cry. It's so heartwarming and so romantic. It was definitely an ending full of deep love. The grand gesture gave me such a giddy and happy feeling for Eliza, Ben and Grant.

Title: Tiramisu for two
Review: I really enjoyed the story of Grant and Eliza. I admit I missed parts of the backstory I think, by not reading the first book in the series. Some of the resolution was left out. These were parts I was interested in reading. Grant and Eliza are characters you cheer for from the beginning.

Review: The Truth in Tiramisu by Rachael Bloome - Book 2 in the Poppy Creek series. Really enjoyed the story of Eliza and her son Ben and of course her one true love Grant. The Poppy Creek series lets you get to know the whole town and I love feeling apart of the small town when I read books. Eliza is bestfriend and part owner of the new cafe in town with her bestfriend Cassie (who's story of love starts off the Poppy Creek series in Book 1). It is a dream come true for both of them. Everyone wants Eliza to find love and have her happy ever after. She has never revealed the father of her son Ben, but sometimes circumstances out of our control force us into situations where we have to finally tell our secrets to those we love.
