Title: Fun and Functional
Review: We have really begun to love playing pickleball and our friend had some of these paddles. They were an instant love for me! First the designs are so fun and original (I have the sprinkles but played with their watermelon one first!) I love being unique with my paddle!But they also are really well made. I have found they don’t have a dead spot that my other set did (just a deal on Amazon) and the paddle is textured. The grip is cozy too! My only negative is the white handle gets really dirty so a fun color might be nice instead. But super happy with this paddle!!

Title: Looks silly. Plays well.
Review: Looks pretty silly. Have a couple of these now. But they are actually well constructed. Use the latest tech. And play well. Think many assume because of the graphics they are not serious. The company has gotten USPB accreditation finally for the Gen 2. But it's the same as before just gone through the accreditation. Little thicker than most because of the inner core. Rough surface that works well for spin and contact. These are from Washington State. And have wondered if they were part of the original PB movement long time ago. When PB was less serious so they were for "play." On the front line then may be doing catch up with their marketing and business positioning. The box is considerable upgraded with a funny little twist as these folks still believe it should be fun. But serious play as well. Just my take.

Title: Surprisingly Strong Performance and Great Paddle For Spin
Review: I was waiting to use this paddle for 5-6 weeks after buying it before writing a review. I did a lot of research and comparisons on economically priced paddles to determine if there was a gem that stood out. This paddle did stand out despite the marketing emphasis on its good styling and "fun."I have been playing p-ball for 3 years. I have played a lot of table tennis/ping pong in the past so spins, more than just power, has been my playing style for p-ball. This paddle is absolutely outstanding for placing spins and controlling the location of my shots. Very often, the opposing players just say "WOW!" when I get a great spin off with this paddle. The surface has a nice grit to it and the thickness of the paddle contributes to the control and use of that spin. Top, side, and back spins react just the way I want them to and often force opposing shots into the net or they are missed altogether.As far as power, there may be some paddles at this price point that have more power but this one has plenty and more than my past paddles. The shape and dimensions of the hitting surface provides a good-sized sweet spot. The light balance in the paddle seems to help control how I locate the power shots.The grip is perfect, as far as my game goes. The feel is tacky and very comfortable. The length helps my game further - I am ambidextrous so I switch hands when the shots hit to me allow me to do so. I get as firm a grip as I need on every shot with either hand.On the negative side, after 5-6 weeks use, some of the coloring appears to be white spotted near the center sweet spot. This has had no perceptible change in performance but has reduced the "aesthetics" of the paddle in a minor way. I will have to use it for several months more before determining the paddle's overall durability.Bottom line, this is an outstanding paddle if you want to save some money but get a high-performance spin-crazy paddle. It raised the quality of my play from OK to very good. Gotta be happy 'bout that!

Title: Paddle was so good I was forced to buy two more.
Review: I was always told, "Don't ride a more expensive bicycle than your own." Why? It makes you really want the more expensive one and loathe the one you have.Well, I made that mistake with my wife. She has been using a standard paddle and is pretty decent at Pickleball. We both wanted to get better at the game so I bought one of these paddles for myself. She saw it and asked if she could try it out. MISTAKE #1. I let her and suddenly her game took off. She was making shots she never did before and had better placements. As my Pickleball partner, I couldn't complain. I saw the evil look in her eye saying, "You're never doing to get this back," and so it was. (I remember a pair of sunglasses i bought she did the same thing with.)So rather than poke the bear, I bought another paddle. Then my daughter asked if she could try it out. MISTAKE #2. Now, she won't give it up, too. It took her game and elevated it. It's as if I gave them both steroids or something. And I fear I have been replaced as my wife's Pickleball partner.I've purchased three paddles so far and I'm hoping to keep the third for myself. (Don't tell my son.)The sweet spot is large.They take abuse.They made our games better.Done deal.
