From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us and It Starts with Us!
Moving, passionate, and unforgettable, Colleen Hoover's novel follows two young adults from completely different backgrounds embarking on a tentative romance, unaware of what the future holds.
After a childhood filled with poverty and neglect, Beyah Grim finally has her hard-earned ticket out of Kentucky with a full ride to Penn State. But two months before she’s finally free to change her life for the better, an unexpected death leaves her homeless and forced to spend the remainder of her summer in Texas with a father she barely knows.
Devastated and anxious for the summer to go by quickly, Beyah has no time or patience for Samson, the wealthy, brooding guy next door. Yet, the connection between them is too intense to ignore. But with their upcoming futures sending them to opposite ends of the country, the two decide to maintain only a casual summer fling. Too bad neither has any idea that a rip current is about to drag both their hearts out to sea.

Title: Heart Bones: A Captivating Journey of Love and Loss
Review: Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover is a poignant novel that swept me off my feet from the very first page. This story beautifully intertwines love, loss, and the healing power of human connection, making it an unforgettable read. The characters are vividly brought to life, each with their own complexities and struggles. The protagonist, Beyah, is a strong and relatable character who navigates life's challenges with courage and vulnerability. Her journey of self-discovery and healing is both heartbreaking and uplifting, leaving a lasting impact on the reader. What sets Heart Bones apart is its unique blend of romance and suspense. The chemistry between Beyah and her love interest is palpable, drawing the reader into their whirlwind romance. At the same time, the underlying mystery adds an element of intrigue that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.Colleen Hoover's writing is as mesmerizing as ever, with prose that is both lyrical and evocative. She has a remarkable ability to capture the depth of human emotions, making you feel every joy and sorrow along with the characters. In conclusion, Heart Bones is a masterpiece that will tug at your heartstrings and linger in your mind long after you've turned the last page. I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone looking for a captivating and emotional read.

Title: Another phenomenal CoHo read, you wonât be disappointed!
Review: Firstly, let me just say Iâm such a huge fan of CoHo! Heart Bones is another one of her phenomenal reads that was so enthralling from start to finish. I know better then to start a book late at night, thinking Iâll put it away and go to sleep. I do wish it was slightly longer, only selfishly! I was able to finish it in about 6 hours, so it was a quick little read. If youâre teetering on the edge of reading this or not, why on a Earth would you do that? Stop right this instant and read it!Iâll get into my actually review from here, so stop reading if you donât want spoilers! The story literally captivates from the very first chapter. Beyahâs mothers death is so beautifully and heartbreakingly raw in its depiction that it starts the book magnificently and keeps you enthralled and wanting more.Beyah is amazing. Her character is developed so well and you can feel what itâs like to be in her shoes. The story captivates and takes you in a journey through life experiences maybe youâve never been before. One of my favorite parts early on was the part about the angry, starving cat in her stomach tearing her up from the inside. The hunger pains weâre so vividly depicted and beautifully written and made me get goose bumps. I never saw her character as bitchy or woe is me. She was genuinely a beautiful person who was just dealt a horrible hand but handled it wonderfully. The horrific things she endured by her mother, men, and society as a whole made her a badass woman able to look at the world outside of the box and see people for who they are on the inside and not the situations they create or circumstances.Samson! Whatâs not to love about Samson! He is aloof and mysterious just as Beyah is, demons of his own, piled high with mistakes, secrets, and hopes. His love for her is so real and sweet. I was rooting for them the whole way.I only have a few negative comments about the book!1- I wish it was longer!2 - I think it was rushed at the end and further development of Samsonâs secrets could have been better uncovered and addressed. They didnât seem that bad to me compared to Beyahâs but they definitely were rushed. The books pace was just slightly off because we had this buildup of Samsonâs horrible secrets through 80% of the book, then they were rushed at the end.3 - I wanted more of when she went to school and how that distance took a toll on her. It jumped 4 years in 2 pages.4 - The ending was too abrupt and not fully developed. Again, I just keep reiterating that I wish we had more of the end part do the story like we had at the first.I love you CoHO! 4/5 stars for me!

Title: I absolutely loved every moment of this story
Review: Have you ever heard the saying âunder the circumstances?â Someone once said to me they could never understand why people said things like âIâm doing okay, under the circumstances.â He then said he would ask âwhat are you doing under the circumstances?â If there was anyone who could voice this idiom and mean it, it would be Beyah Grim.Beyah is doing exceptionally well, despite the circumstances of her life thus far. She lives with a woman who bears no semblance to the definition of âmother.â She has managed to achieve a lot in her young life, in spite of her circumstances. Beyah has had to make choices that she is not proud of but when survival is the driving force behind these decisions, she really had no choice.âI wonder what kind of upbringing is worse for a human. The kind where youâre sheltered and loved to the point that you arenât aware of how cruel the world can be until itâs too late to acquire the necessary coping skills, or the kind of household I grew up in. The ugliest version of a family, where coping is the only thing you learn.âBeyah is about to graduate and head off to college when her world is flipped upside down, the only option is to ask her estranged father for help. This is how she ends up spending the summer on Bolivar Peninsula with a father she barely knows and his new family. Her dad has been largely absent from her life, a one night stand he barely remembers is how he became a father to a daughter who seems resistant to spending time with him.Beyah is trying to adjust to living in a family unit with people she is struggling to find fault with, in fact they are really open and kind to her - not something she is used to at all. Her step-sister Sarah is one of nicest people she has met and they form a close bond, which is something Beyah had no idea she was missing until now. And then there is the boy next door, Samson.âDamaged people recognise other damaged people. Itâs like a club you donât want a membership to.âBeyahâs first interaction with Samson is something she would rather forget, they both made assumptions about each other which lead to her disliking him. However, he is in Sarahâs circle of friends so she canât avoid seeing him and eventually they figure out they have more in common than they realised. Samson is reluctant to share too much about himself with Beyah, she canât help but overshare with him and she doesnât know why really, she just feels comfortable talking to him.âI stare at my reflection. Before Samson, when I would look in the mirror, I would see a girl who mattered to no-one. But every time Iâve looked in the mirror since meeting him, Iâve seen a girl who matters to someone else.âFriendship soon morphs into something more between them and the thought of things ending when she heads off to college is weighing on Beyahâs mind. She has never had a connection like this to any human being before. She feels love and wanted, something she hadnât experienced until Samson came into her. She canât imagine the rest of her life without him in it, until that choice is cruelly snatched from her. They were supposed to be paddling in the shallows, they werenât supposed to wade out into the deep.Once again Colleen blew me away with the artistic way she weaves words together. I love the way she describes things through Colleen coloured glasses, she sees some everyday things with such a unique perspective. I absolutely loved every moment of this story.âI know what love is, because I spent my whole life knowing what it isnât.â

Review: âHe might be right. Maybe we did grow heart bones. But what if the only way of knowing you grew a heart bone is by feeling the agony caused by the break?â.What youâll find:âï¸New Adult Romanceâï¸Summer Flingâï¸Happenstanceâï¸Secrets And Liesâï¸First person, singular POV.Beyah has lived her whole life caring for herself. Never truly knowing happiness. Just knowing the struggle. When a death changes her plans and puts her at her absent fathers beach home, she hopes the summer will slip by. Samson throws her plans right out the window. Complete opposites drawn to each other through sadness, turns into a summer fling that will likely only hurt in the end..This author never seizes to amaze me. This book gripped me from the start. That first chapter. My heart was heavy but ready for more. Thereâs so much sadness in this story, for so many reasons. But you also experience some truly heartfelt moments. Itâs tragic, yet compelling..Beyah and Samson were two lost souls who truly understood each other. Perhaps misunderstood at first. Yet, both felt wise beyond their years. Beyah with thick skin, though a vulnerability underneath. And Samson with a story behind his quiet eyes. This story took its time, you felt you really got to know them. Until the lies and secrets all come spilling out. And then the emotion truly pours in. My heart couldnât take it. And you just couldnât help but to route for them both anyways. So many great cocharacters who just added perfectly to the storyline. I donât want to say too much more about this story, just that I highly recommend checking this one out.
