Title: Really easy to use.
Review: I will usually make myself a cappuccino or a mocha. I fill the portafilter with beans and twist it into the machine and wait a very short time for the water delivery system to heat up. Then, I either get a 4 oz double shot or a 2 oz single shot. I then prep the milk steamer and steam however much milk I need to mix in with the espresso shot. Easy peasy. I wish that the coffee would add a little steam boost at the end, but it is still good. The steamer is a monster and will deliver as much as you want.

Title: Solid machine with a few issues
Review: The Gevi EzBru 1000 Espresso Machine has a few issues, but the price is fairly good for this mid-range model. It's an attractive espresso machine, with a stainless steel housing. It isn't a huge appliance and fits on my kitchen counter nicely. It takes up about the same amount of space as my coffee maker. My daughter was a barista for years, and I asked her to help me test this espresso machine. She did make me a fairly decent latte, but before she handed it to me, I heard her mutter several unkind things about this espresso maker. First of all: this machine is slow. It is slow to heat up, and each component is kind of lazy. The frothing wand likes to keep you waiting around while it heats up. For all that, the milk froth it produced was decidedly lukewarm. My daughter told me I need a thermometer to keep track of the temperature , so that I can tell when the milk is very hot and foamy. The wand can also be used to express hot water for tea or hot chocolate. The flavor of the drink was very good despite being lukewarm. I think that this espresso maker has a learning curve. Since my daughter is an experienced barista, some of the problems might be that the machine might be different from the machines she has previously worked with. While this one may be a bit simpler, it still has some unfamiliar elements.I like this espresso maker. It does have some quirks, but these are not insurmountable. For the price, this espresso maker is decent. It makes reasonably good coffee, and good foam (but not incredibly hot foam). It takes a LONG time to heat up, which is the most egregious crime it commits. The frothing wand drips water instead of steam for a few seconds and then kicks out steam after another few long seconds.Decent coffee. The foam is thick, but you need to wait for it. Whether you like this espresso maker really depends on what you want it for. Because it is a bit fussy, some people might want something simpler; other people may like the ability to use the frothing wand for hot water, and the ease with which they can whip up two espressos. It all depends on your needs.

Title: Great Espresso, Great features, Great value !!!
Review: It has been years since I was looking for an espresso machine.Wanted a very popular brand but too pricey for me and it uses a 54mm portafilter.I was introduced to this popular machine through a friend. It produced an excellent espresso.Enter the Gevi Ezbru 1000.Wow full featured at less than $200.00Got one.Could not be happier. It checked all the boxes for me:- 58mm portafilter- pre-infusion- PID or automatic temp control- compact- build quality is very high...similar to the popular machine I referred to above- 1 year warranty (extended 6 months for free)- great price (particularly for an espresso machine using a 58mm portafilter)Straight out of the box, it produced excellent expresso.Very straightforward operation.Fantastic espresso (did I say that already?)Stream wand works very well.Minimal wait time for the machine to warm up (maybe 1 min)Puts a smile on my face each time I drink my espresso/latte.Notes:- I got a better tamper since the one that came with the machine is lacking.- a dosing cup; to make life easier for me- metal puck screen; to get consistency plus my used espresso pucks end up dry- You will need a grinder that can grind for espressoAll and all I highly recommend this machine.I'm very happy with it.
