How did we get our start?
Flying over Chicago one night, it hit me - What are we doing with all that copper wire and cable when it’s replaced? What were we doing with replaced electrical wires?
What makes our products unique?
As a lifelong machinist, inventor and manufacturer, I knew we could design and manufacture superior wire strippers, which we did in 2014 with the StripMeister Original.
Why do we love what we do?
StripMeister is a wire stripper machine market leader and innovator (variable speed motors, Ultra-Grip feeders, etc.) that everyone tries to copy, yet we remain in the lead!
With our products, scrappers can now easily get 3x the profits for bringing the bare bright copper to the recyclers. We also love what we do because we get to innovate and create wire strippers that people love. These wire stripping machines are suitable for anyone who has a little bit or mounds of scrap copper wire.
STRIPMEISTER
Ultra-Grip Wire Stripper Technology: Our stripping machine improved with ultra-grip wire feeder technology. This technology massively increases torque, reduces slippage and straightens mangled wires to get them through the drill-powered wire stripper tool. It will untangle mangled wires effortlessly without any slips or jams. This unique cable stripper is an industrial grade automatic wire stripper for all your scrap wire.
Portable Wire Stripper: You can bring this wire stripper machine where all the scrap wires and cables need to be stripped. The tool is lightweight, portable, and can easily fit in a bag or at the back of your truck or car for easy transport and storage. This wire stripping machine won't require a lot of space to strip all the copper wire you have. This drill-powered wire stripping machine is manufactured in North America and uses top-grade materials
Drill-Powered Wire Stripping: Got a hand drill at home? Pair it with the StripMeister original wire stripping machine and you've got a powerful tool that will go through various types of wires, from 18 gauge wire to 250 MCM, including ROMEX and braided (stranded) wire. This wire stripper is your partner for practical and economical wire recycling.
Versatile Wire Stripper Tool: Our drill-powered wire stripping tool can strip wire scraps of different sizes from #18 wire to 250 MCM and diameters from 0.08″ (2mm) Up To 0.79″ (20.1mm). This wire stripping tool also strips ROMEX and braided (stranded) wires, with ease. Many recyclers of copper wires trust this stripper tool. The Romex slot will save 33% of your time over any other wire insulation stripping tool.
Efficient Scrap Wire Stripping: This powerful wire stripping machine can handle kinked and twisted cables and wires. You can go through scraps all day faster than you would with manual hand crank wire stripping. No need to tire yourself out, either, because you can reduce your time stripping copper wires with this product.

Title: Great product
Review: The wire strippers that I purchased on amazon.com was the best product and I would recommend to anybody to purchase this product if you need to strip some wires. It is a lightweight, easy to use wire stripper. I did not have any problems using the wire stripper there's not one thing that I don't like about it everything lines up when you put the wire in place then pick up your drill zip zip takes a second to strip 5 ft of wire ( hard wires ) so in conclusion I would recommend it to anybody who is looking to purchase a wire stripper.

Title: Why didn't I buy this years ago?!
Review: I am an electrician specializing in remodel projects, so I am always pulling out old wire and recycling it. I have thought about getting a stripping machine for a while, but always thought I needed a big and expensive one. I finally broke down and thought I would give one of these smaller ones a try, and like others have said: why didn't I get one of these years ago?! It works well, and strips wire much faster than I could with a utility knife, and much safer, too.The unit is small, but that is a plus, not a minus. It is well built, with good milling of the solid aluminum frame and moving parts that fit tight but move easily. I bolted mine down to a small block of wood just big enough to hold it and the drill to run it. I can then clamp the unit to a work bench or stand, and easily store the assembly away when I am done with it.I will say that it can be a little finicky. Although the feed angle is not super-critical, it does matter for how well the material feeds through and, if set poorly, can cause the wire to slip to the side of the cutter wheel. Also, stripping smaller stranded wire (so far in the #14 - #12 range, I haven't tried others yet) requires much more accuracy with the cutting wheel, otherwise you end up with a lot of copper slivers as the wheel will cut the strands as well as the insulation. However, it doesn't take a lot to fine tune the adjustments, and once set, it runs really well. Therefore, any other reviewers stating they are having trouble with the wire not staying under the cutting wheel is simply not paying attention to their setup.Although I would not consider this is to be a production stripper, I have managed to strip thousands of feet of wire in just a couple of days. There are a couple of things this little stripper will struggle with, such as stripping the outer jacket of round multi-wire (aka 3-wire plus ground) cables, but again, with a little but of tweaking, it took me less than a minute to set up and strip over 100' of 12/3 that was probably made in the 70's or 80's, which has a much thicker jacket and a lot more paper filler inside, so it was quite a challenge. Once the inside wires were separated, I was able to just run individual wire after wire, and a couple of minutes later, I had several more pounds of bare copper in the pile.Overall, in a couple of days I will have finished what would have taken me weeks to do, plus I will get more money per pound for the stripped wire than if I didn't strip it, so this little unit has pretty much paid for itself in no time. If you are in the market for stripping a fair amount of wire, but not looking to make a living out of it (need a bigger machine for that), this little unit will certainly do the trick.

Title: if you are looking at this you need it simple as that
Review: I cannot count all the hours I have spent nearly cutting my hand open a dozen times trying to strip wire to scrap. Especially the bigger gauges such as 8 and 6. This tool has not only saved my hands and back but also my time as well as given me a greater bare copper yield. This particular tool is very solid and well made. Nothing cheap here. For sure use a drill on this tool, you can thank me later. The only real cons I can give this product is simply some better instructions would be useful and beware the wire can get stuck at times with super thick insulation or tears in the outer jacket which usually can be easily fixed however others take a minute or two to free up. Seriously though for the price and not having to resort to primitive means of stripping wire this tool is well worth the money.

Title: Works Great and Is Very Simple
Review: Iâm an electrician and a lot of wire scraps end up coming home with me. Normally, stripping thin wire would take a lot of work by yourself with a pocket knife, but even my wife is able to set this up and get it running easily.

Title: Worth it
Review: If you're looking to make it easy stripping wire, this is the stripper a scrapper needs. I have stripped an insane amount of 250 MCM, 10 ga, 12 ga, and 16 ga to the bare copper and made twice as much as I would have if I hadn't.I haven't needed to change the cutting disc (extra included) at all after months of stripping every day, so it's pretty durable. You adjust to the correct wire size, tighten the holder and then screw down the cutting disc until you feel it clamp down slightly on the wire. Then attach a drill to the axle and make a slight cut to see barely any copper (that'd be the correct depth) and then just let it feed through. It doesn't really slip unless it's not clamped down enough or unless the wire is kinked, but it's pretty easy to get the hang of after the first go. Just keep the wire straight and you'll be fine. Make small adjustments if the insulation doesn't come off easy enough. The design includes holes to be able to mount the stripper on a surface. It's easy to adjust and after you get your handle on things, the insulation comes off so easy.. obviously the bigger wire will have some more work attached, but the smaller stuff, if you even strip the smaller wires, will go through and separate quickly.I've made my money back over 100x the price of this stripper in just a few months.

Review: This wire stripper effectively and quickly strips insulation from stranded and solid copper and aluminum wire. I have successfully stripped Number 6 to Number 20 wire. It is incredibly easy to change the knife height for different size wire. This is better than any other wire stripper I have tried before. It is definitely worth the money!

Review: Exactly as advertised, it strips cable⦠Iâve been using it for a couple of weeks now and had no problems at all. Iâve stripped several hundred metres of cable so far. Itâs not complicated to set up either. So much easier and quicker than running a Stanley knife down the cable to remove the insulation. Multicores can also be run through the Stripmeister in order to cut the outer sheath prior to running the individual cores through. It comes with a spare blade although the original one is still sharp. Iâm pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a substantial quantity of cable to strip.
