Title: Product had a leak (hose) and was shedding material.
Review: I returned the product with no problem, a free replacement was sent in 2 days. The hose was shredding and had a hole in the hose. (See photos). The 50 foot hose is ok, but not great especially the included nozzle. But, I'll keep it for now and purchase a better one.

Title: One of the Best
Review: I have been using many such hoses over the years. Many collapsed and couldn't survive a season; but this one served me well and I will probably be able use it again in the next year. This is a hose that automatically expands when water is running through it and contracts when the water is turned off. The connectors are good too. It is overall very lightweight and easy to recoil back to its housing.

Review: I have no idea how but I was watering plants, looked down and there was a stream from a hole after only a couple weeks of using a couple days a week. Buy the better hose.

Title: Expandable Hose
Review: This is the a hose that automatically expands when water is running through it and contracts when the water is turned off. The connectors claim to be solid brass but look more like brass colored thin plastic. The weight of the connectors is very lightweight which does not inspire confidence.

Title: An excellent special-use hose
Review: I view this hose as generally an excellent product so long as you understand what you are buying. You are buying an extremely lightweight hose that is very kink-resistant and rarely gets tangled. But it is NOT a replacement for a general use hose. I replaced a heavy duty hose on my deck that I kept rolled up in a large hose housing that I used for watering the numerous potted plants. That heavy-duty hose and housing were both about 12 years old and still quite operable. But they looked moldy and nasty. Moreover, that heavy duty hose was constantly kinking, tangling, and becoming snagged around the crowded deck furniture. This light-weight hose seemed like a perfect solution, and indeed it is.So, a lightweight quality hose is perfect for a special situation like a deck, patio, or other circumstance where it is very inconvenient to permanently keep a heavy duty hose. But, also understand that there is an inevitable sacrifice for the convenience of a feather-light retractible-expandable mobile hose. It ain't gonna last 12 years and it's not going to withstand the kind of abuse that a heavy duty hose will - e.g., vehicles constantly riding over it, constant tugging and twisting, etc. I cannot predict with any certainty, but I would be quite surprised if, despite its relative quality for a lightweight hose, it could endure more than a couple of seasons of ordinary hose abuse. I am hoping with light and gently use on my deck, it might last a little longer. But even if not, the convenience is worth the cost.One last caveat. Despite the comments of some other reviewers, the accompanying nozzle is pure garbage. It is constructed of extremely flimsy plastic that would likely crack if you stepped on it. Moreover, the preset spray settings are mostly useless. I actually threw it in the trash. Fortunately, it does not appear to reflect the quality of the hose material and connections.
