Title: great mothers day gift idea
Review: I bought this book as a mothers day gift. My wife loved it. The book has a great story and the little girl in the story reminds me of my daughter in how she acts in the story. This is a great book to read and great as a gift from child to mother.

Title: Cute story-a little wordy
Review: I wasn't sure I was going to like this book. It is a little wordy for younger children. I enjoyed the storyline. It is a cute little story. Would be a nice 1st Mother's day gift for a new, biological or adoptive mom.

Title: My daughter and I love this book!!
Review: This book fills my heart with joy. The engaging story really hits home and the illustrations that are jam-packed with personality are a perfect match to bring this story to life. I have a beautiful, scrumptious, precocious young daughter like Maxine that I love to bits. We pour through the pages together giggling at Maxine and seeing which of us can find her mama hidden in the scenes on some of the pages first, and we always share a big, snuggly hug at the end. It's the best! This is a book we will come back to again and again and again...
