Title: MUST BUY!
Review: I typically donât write reviews, but this one deserves a five star review. It was so easy to set the trap up and so easy to discard Contents. It is extremely effective after one day all three traps needed to be disposed of contents. And the best part it is reusable with little to no mess or cleanup.

Title: Great trap!! Well worth the cost.
Review: These traps are very easy to set, very easy to remove the rodent carcass from, and they work great! We have a rat infection since we lost our outside cats. I tried old fashioned snap traps, some were ok, but most the rats would crawl over and not set them off - I put a nest cam next to the traps so I could watch. On a few occasions the trap flung the rat a few feet in the air instead of trapping it.These traps are fairly safe around birds/cats/dogs/kids compared to snap traps, no need to cover them or put in a box like snap traps. You don't have to be gentle with the trap after it's set either and even if it did go off in your hand its not going to snap on your fingers. Some review say they are hard to set, I did have an issue resetting a trap a few times, but I found the bait plate had stuck down. I just popped it back up and it set easy.I bought the four pack and have caught two rats a night the last four nights. I was catching two rats a week with snap traps. They may be more expensive the traditional traps, but these work well and they are cleaner. I actually don't mind having to remove the dead rat and reset these traps. I got to the point of just throwing the snap traps out with the rat still in it because I didn't want to deal with prying the trap open with a bloody rat in it. Rats can be removed using one hand with these traps and there is very little chance of coming into contact with the rat. They are also easy to bait, I use peanut butter and bird seed, the trigger plate is large with a hole in the center. I just smear my bait on the plate, it get on top and below the trigger plate. Either place is good because the rat will have to disturb the plate to get the bait. Great design! These traps will do a great job...until I can find a few new outside cats.

Title: It really worked
Review: Before buying two traps of this model late 2023, I had tried different traps and glues and none of them worked. More than 10 rats and mice were caught since then with the two new traps. I setup them in my chicken fence. A big plus is that they are safe for chickens because of the tunneled design making the baiting food inaccessible to chickens. On the other hand, I believe that the tunnel makes it more attractive to rats or mice based on nothing but its effectiveness. It is well made too-sturdy and lasting. Mine have been placed outdoor almost one year and were wash clearned many times. They still look in good shape, working well, barely rusted.

Title: Easy to set, bait and catch
Review: Update after couple days use. The latch that holes the trap ready to work releases after a 1.5 days setting the trap offkind of annoying but id check them every other day as it is so more of con for the construction than function. Spring on the snap feels nice and strong as it takes a good amount of pressure to set the snap in place. The bottom loading bait canister is small but it's easy to use and if rats are around they will find it. The tunnel is big enough for large rats to get in there and get chomped by the snapper.Background- I live in the city and have an annoying community garden 2 yards away that planted an apple tree. Of course no one picks up the apples so the rat population has exploded. There are stray cats but they don't hunt the rats bc the hipsters put food bowls out and feed the cats, rats and skunks the city released to deal with the rats. In 15 yrs of living here I never had an issue or would see them until the apple tree. I saw a rat other day running from the garden across neighbors back yard and then along my fence line. I baited the trap and set it along fence line just after dark maybe 9pm and was hoping for the best. Couldn't help but look at it 2 hours later and sure enough had a huge one dead. Perfect snap right on its neck. If there's 1 there's always more so now that I know they are attracted to it ill leave it in that spot and rotate it around the yard so they don't become accustomed to it and ignore it. Was worth the money

Title: Works GREAT
Review: I had a rat or three eating my horse feed that was due to be fed the next morning. It was sitting in the back of my Kubota ready to feed. I noticed something was eating the feed. I borrowed my neighbors game camera and discovered a rat was coming at different times during the night to eat. It may have been more than 1â¦I will find out by resetting the trap every night. I now keep my feed hidden away in a trash can at night. After the 2nd night of setting the traps I caught a big one!!PLEASE donât use poison. It kills Owls and Hawks that may eat the rat after it has ingested the poison. The manufacturer says it doesnâtâ¦.but it does.

Title: Worked when others didn't
Review: A rat took up residence in our garage and I tried the bucket trap that's supposed to trick the thing into falling into the bucket. The bait didn't even get touched. Next I tried the old school spring loaded rat trap with the wooden base. Rat took the bait and set off the trap, but the trap didn't get the rat. Ordered these a week ago. First night, no dice. Second night, money. One rat down. Third night, money. Two rats down. We'll see what tonight (Sep 30) has in store.Removing the rat from the trap is easy with no touching of the corpse involved. The bait is easy to put in. There is no chance of snapping your fingers in this design. And the "tunnel" entrance keeps the rat from being able to avoid the jaws of the trap.

Title: Great for mice, not rats
Review: Anyone who has owned chickens in a rural area knows that it brings all types of pests.... Including rats. These traps are much too small for rats. The opening is not big enough and so they won't go in. Caught a mice the first night though... so there's that. Super easy and not icky to dispose of the mouse. Just push open the trap and slide into trash. Wish it was just a larger opening. Too gross to send back since it did work with a mouse... but useless for what we need.
