Title: Hyper Hammer 5.3 - Great Top-Spin and Control (Review by Pro)
Review: I'm top 3 in our club and I'm used to a similar Wilson racquet which I used for 14 years and it got a crack. I was looking for one which is very similar - Head size, length and weight. Atlast I found this Hyper Hammer 5.3. I had purchased another Wilson racquet with this i.e. Wilson Juice Pro BLX along with this. Juice Pro was excellent and I got more power. It was on heavy side. It took a while to get adjusted, but eventually I stopped improving my game. My shots where flying out, unable to get it right in the middle etc. Finally I decided to go back to my other new Hyper Hammer 5.3. VOW!!!.. from day 1 I could realize that my game in improving and I'm using it for the past 1 month and now I'm back to number 1 in the club.Things I LIKE about this Hyper Hammer 5.3 is1. Generate powerful top-spin2. Great solid serve3. Great control when near to the net4. I no more hit out. It hits the line or on the green :)5. Very light weightCons:1. It vibrates a lot, but I put a nice shock absorber rubber and I'm good now.2. Strings move a lot when hitting top-spin. Would have prefered 18x22 string pattern.Note: Other Pro players in my club saw my Hyper Hammer 5.3 and said "this is a beginners racket...". But let me tell you, this racquet can do magic. I have used new Head, Price, Wilson racquets. But nothing come close to this racquet overall. I could feel my game is improving daily, everyday.. Thanks to Wilson for such a great racquet. Read a lot of review about this old racquet and my purchase wasn't a disappointment, but very very happy with it.

Title: Great racket
Review: I haven't played tennis in decades and was overwhelmed with how many rackets are on the market these days. This is a great racket and handles very well. It made my transition back into playing tennis seamless and I would recommend this racket to others.

Title: Hyper Hammer 5.3, how did I miss this?
Review: Had been on hammer 4 for more than a decade and all my co-players moved to Babolat drive max 110 from other rackets, and my strings on hammer 4 broke just in time. Gave a try to Babolat, the lighter weight is easier on my hands definitely, but I noticed it is not providing enough power as Hammer 4 and my back hand got worse.Explored Wilson Hammer newer models and came across this on Amazon, pre-strung and a bargain price, kind of no brainer. What a racket it has been!!!, marvelous. Delivering awesome power and lighter than Babolat too. Got my back hand back. Noticeable improvement in my game as confirmed by my partners. Will never move out of Wilson Hammer model line up.Thank you Wilson

Title: Awesome, and powerful racket
Review: I recently got the Hyper Hammer 5.3, and when I used this racket, I felt a huge difference compared to my other old Wilson racket. The strings felt excellent, and I could do forehands and backhands easily. I have experience with tennis for about 4 years, and because you need skill for this racket, I do NOT reccomend this racket for starters. Otherwise, the overall features of this racket is awesome. The racket is lightweight, and it's quite powerful. Nice racket, and I reccomend this to people who need a new racket and have some basic experience.

Title: No way to request head size.
Review: My longtime racquet, but I was delivered the oversized version. I wanted a mid plus, but there was no way to specify the head size, so I returned it and decided to change racquets.4 stars because at least it was the correct brand and model.

Title: Up your game!
Review: Add power to your game! This golden oldie has been consistently considered the best under $100.00 stick for years and now I know why. While on a trip out of state, I left my rackets home and needed a quick racquet. Having used the Wilson K Zero for 2 years, I figured the Hyper Hammer specs were close in weight and square inches so I took a flyer and snagged one. Wow!Definitely more pop and power off the string bed. I’m hitting one or two aces in each of my last matches and my usually flat forehands are zinging in for winners. Once you acclimate to the need for a bit more control, this racquet will improve your game. It’s a but head heavy, hence the power but the sub 10 ounce weight will allow maneuverability and it feels light. I’m gonna replace the stock Wilson strings to Babolat RPM Blasts at 60 psi but it’s hot out of the wrapper. Get 1. You will not be sorry you did.

Title: My first Tennis racket
Review: I am a beginner who is taking lessons for tennis and this is my first racket, I will tell you what I like and dislikes (which is really not the racket’s fault), and why I still give it a 5-star rating.I like:1. Cool appearance of the racket2. You can’t go wrong with Wilson3. Good rating on Amazon, that is why I decided to purchase this one.4. Fair price.5. Black handle so I know it will not get dirty with prolonged use (as opposed to white handle, which I suspect will turn dirty or yellow after a few months)I “dislike”:1. I like to inspect my purchase very carefully for any defect, so please inspect yours for any damage, dents, or scratches. Which I did found on one of my purchase and had a replacement.2. Head size is 110! Place read the details of this racket carefully if you are specific on the head size you want. When I first buy it, I didn’t even know that there is different head size, I only know there are different handle size. When I first used it, I always feel that my racket is bigger than my classmate and instructor’s racket, when I realized it's not my imagination, I finally asked my instructor. He said the size is big but it's a great racket, I just have to be more gentle when hitting the ball (so something like that), and he prefers to use head size in the 90s I think (I don’t remember the exact number).Note on “dislikes”: I like to do rating in the product itself, NOT the seller or shipping methods because they tend to change a lot. So when you (or I) think about it, the 2 dislikes that I mentioned is not really the rackets fault (though I don’t know how long it will last, because I haven’t used it for toooooo long), one due to maintenance/shipping by the seller/shipper, and other is because my lack of knowledge about different head size and didn’t know to read the details carefully before purchase. So in the end, I still love this racket!

Review: I am writing this review after two weeks. I have started Tennis at the age of 47 because Doctor has advised me to loose weight. I got first racket from a thrift store and played with it for few days. After that I was looking for a light weight racket and I found this one on Amazon. I found this very light and durable. I don't know much about Tennis and racket but found this one very good. Thank you Wilson.
