Protect your animals with the Zareba 50 Mile AC Low Impedance Fence Charger. This powerful 2-joule energizer controls a variety of animals, including pigs, llamas, horses, cattle, and more. Besides keeping animals in, it will also help to keep wildlife out. This 50 Mile Charger will power through heavy weeds with its strong output, although a well-kept fence line is ideal. Extreme vegetation and poly products will reduce the overall power of the fence energizer. The more material along the fence line, the harder the energizer must work to pass voltage through the line. This UL-listed energizer will plug into any standard 2 prong electrical outlet and should be protected from the elements. Built in the USA, this energizer is tested with a full load at our manufacturing facility and comes with a 2-year warranty. Title: It works.
Review: I had to replace my old electric fence. It was a 15 mile one I bought many years ago from TSC. I had to place many ground rods to make the old fence really "bite".I read the reviews on this product and it was one of the best per ratings.It was quick and easy to install.When I tested it.... it had a strong pop!!Now fast forward to a few weeks later... I was walking my fence line and checking the line. I had a pair of plyers that I have always used to twist the wire to keep it tight. Boy does that thing bite!! I didn't realize that the plyers had a bare spot on them... after getting struck by lightning, flinging my plyers, and a few choice words... I realized this thing works much better than my old one...Fyi... I found my plyers 20 minutes later.Since then I had a few other accidents and I have to say. It works great!!! My 1200 pound bull agrees with me too!

Title: Very powerful, my set up generated 9,000 K at the end of my run
Review: Really like the product and it puts out quite a bit of a punch however this is my 2nd one. I purchased one a little over a year ago and it quit working HOWEVER the manufacturer did a excellent job of providing a email Return Label on it while I was on the phone with them and will warranty the product so I will have a instant backup in the event this one goes bad. The only reason I gave it 3 stars rather then 5 was because the first one did not last as long as I expected. However I will give them 5 stars in customer service and immediate followup.

Title: Going strong, years later
Review: I needed to look up what charger I was using for a friend and so found myself back here and thought I should write a review. This thing works. It will drop a horse to it's knees, know you out and make you cuss in languages that you didn't know you knew and knock a goat to the ground. It just sits there ever so innocently that you forget it, until you don't. It just plain works. This charger is one of the few farm items that I do NOT need to constantly check on.

Title: we feel safe now
Review: After being attacked by our nieghbors mastiff twice now in my own yard once only stopping the attack with a warning shot i purchased this electric fencer . i installed it in my well house so as not to expose it to the weather and gronded it to the well casing . I ran the hot wire on top of my four foot fence where the dog was placing its feet to jump the fence for its attacks on us our dogs and livestock . the other day as I was walking to my gate the 150# mastiff came after me again but this time he hit the hot wire with both front feet and about turned inside out trying to get away. although lethal force is legal here the problems are the owners fault not the dogs. The unit definately works

Title: Great fence charger
Review: Arrived on time and as described. This is the AC plug in model. Using on several miles of electric fence. Installed inside the basement and used buried cable to connect out to fence near house. Unit has been very reliable and produces up to 9K volts. Enough to make me jerk strongly when I get into it, which is more often than I want. Weeds or small limbs only drop voltage down to 4K-5K volts. More than enough to remain effective. Very pleased and satisfied.

Review: It's a nice small box. Powerful snap! I accidentally dropped the tester line and touched my finger when I auto reacted to grab it. Wow! The joint throbbed for a few hours after hahaha. I allowed a friend to pasture his horse in with mine. My horses never touched the fence after my very very old energizer quit working a few years back. I'm sure my guys told him the fence bites but after a few weeks, to my horror, this horse showed them the beauty of reaching for greener grass. Unfortunately my untouched fence was being brutally trashed. I guarantee the second he screamed, they ALL said I told you so. A feeling of sheer delight washed over me as that 1400lbs fence wrecker got taught a lesson in manners.
