Title: Great practice amp for under $40.
Review: Sound is decent and the amp is nice and compact and lightweight. It's plenty powerful at 20 amps. I only hear a slight buzz when using the overdrive. Otherwise sound is clean. Happy with purchase.

Title: Not as shown in images. OK for absolute beginners. Overpriced.
Review: Cons: Very tiny and tinny sound. Overdrive channel is more of a distortion than an actual drive -- it actually lowers the volume. Cord is exceedingly light. They put an unpolarized American style plug on a very light cord with a Chinese wire gauge designation (it converts to 20 AWG, lighter than the cheap dollar store extension chords, at 16 AWG.) Unconventional wire colors inside (note both speaker wires are green.) No fuse. Very small (the other amps in my pic are only 8" speaker amps.) Overall the unit is made as cheaply as possible. I had a much better amp with the same overall size and design years ago.Pros: loud enough for practice and fairly clean without the overdrive. Nice corner guards on the cabinet. Volume and tone controls work well and smoothly.I bought this because I had a 4 Ohm, 6" Jensen speaker that I wanted to use; the listing has a picture of the back of the unit showing 4 Ohms. The unit I received has absolutely no information on Ohms. It sounds good with the Jensen but I'm uncomfortable not knowing the actual resistance.Update: after playing this for a few day I have to say that I like it. Very loud and clear sound with the Jensen speaker. I did put on a heavier cord and a grounded (3 prong) plug and grounded the entire unit. That seemed to knock down a little hum. One thing that does still bother me is that all of the jacks and pots are soldered directly onto a printed circuit board -- that makes the amp almost disposable if a jack fails.

Title: Amazing quality for a beginner.
Review: This amp fit perfectly with my guitar and made my set up alot better. Also very loud (if you want) quality has 2 very powerfull modes to either make it distorted or sound professional, This is such a good upgrade for 50 dollars and its defenitely all worth it.

Title: Perfect beginner amp
Review: Listen - the reviews and complaints levied against this amp are all fair. It’s not very loud, the distortion is a joke, and the hardware is likely subpar. Here’s the thing that it seems we have all forgotten - this amp weighs like, a pound. You can take it anywhere that has a power hookup without hurting yourself. It’s clear channel sounds absolutely fine (kinda hard to mess up) - and while I think it’s an affront to rock music - at least the amp offers a distortion option. This amp is exactly what you’d expect a cheap beginner amp to be, and for the price I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.If you’re just starting out - or have a child or friend who’s beginning their journey I don’t think you should overlook this amp.And if you’re looking for a small amp to just throw around and bring with you when you’re out of the house and going to be playing in a hotel room or a families/friends house and you’re going to try to not bother the entire house - this is still a totally solid pick.Go in knowing what it is and you’ll find you’re having a better experience with it than hoped! Bonus - it has an aux hookup so you can play music from your phone through the amp and pretend you’re playing with your favorite band!

Title: Great lightweight amp for beginners/students OR curb music
Review: Here is the T. It’s under $40 and for a 20w amp that’s a great inexpensive deal. I don’t think anyone who is actually making money in the music biz would probably be writing a review on this amp so there is that. So take all the complaints and over explanations for what they are lol. It’s a great lightweight amp that works perfectly fine. As far as the sound being loud. It’s loud enough. If you are a parent with a child learning you probably don’t want it to blow you back in the chair. At least I don’t. I don’t even have to buy headphones because with the door closed it’s muffled enough. As long as it doesn’t die in the first year I think it was a great purchase. Take it for what it is an inexpensive amp not really made for professional use but most people would understand that part.

Title: Nice little amp
Review: I bought this amp because of its low price. Just learning to play the guitar and didn’t want to break the bank. I was impressed with the quality of sound. For the size of this amp it really does sound great. It’s a nice size. Very portable. My only gripe would be the cord is rather short but over all I’m very happy with the purchase.

Title: Poor sound quality,
Review: Gain can't get above 5, it's all noise and static at 10. If I keep the gain below 5, the sound is acceptable but the loudness is not impressive. A bit louder than my guitar. No point for low price when I don't keep it.
