Title: Does the job
Review: My cat loves the taste and smell of this stuff and it keeps the hairballs away. We give him a very thin strip every day and it is a treat he "asks" for, so it's very easy to use. Because we haven't had a single hairball since we started using this regularly, I know it is very effective. The tube is a generous size that lasts us a few months at a time and provides good value for the money.

Title: Hairball lubricant Gel for Cats
Review: I have 3 indoor cats and every so often one has a problem with a hairball. I squeeze out some gel from the Vetoquinol Laxatone tube which I always keep on hand and store in the frig and spread it on a specific cat's paw. Cats love it as it is flavored with tuna, and I do this for a view days as recommended on tube and it has always alleviated the problem so far. I would not want to be without it.

Title: Laxatone or hairballs, your choice
Review: If you've never used Laxatone, and you have cats of any hair length, this is a great product to prevent hair balls. If you have a long-haired cat, this is a necessity.I've been using Laxatone for decades (first recommended by my veterinarian), and depending on the cats self-cleaning habits (some cats bathe themselves almost consistently), and hair length, the frequency varies. Since I have a long hair cat, I use it every other day; however, the other cats (short hair) also like the taste of it, and I'll give them a little bit, too. No harm done.The dose is about the size of a pea, so it should be awhile before having to buy another. The directions say to put it on their nose or paw, but in my experience, that just leads to it being flung onto the linens, walls, floors, ect. Most cats don't like their paws or nose messed with. I've found that putting it on the cap, and letting them lick it off is best for all parties involved. I recommend storing the tube upside-down. It's a sticky, thick gel (like thick honey), and when I've stored it right side up, it starts oozing out the moment the cap is removed.Laxatone washes off you with basic soap and water.I've never noticed a smell, but my cats do, and they love it. It must be a mild tuna taste, because even my one cat, who won't eat fish flavored food, wants it.I highly recommend Laxatone for every cat loving home...Or, you can keep cleaning up hacked hair balls, your choice.

Title: I give to my cat daily
Review: Im a vet tech, and despite many diagnostics and physical exams, there wasnt a medical issue causing my girl to have frequent hairballs (especially in spring/summer). Vet I worked with recommended this. I give approx a teaspoon mixed into her wet food twice daily in spring/summer and once daily in the colder months. and her hairballs are extremely rare now, and she hasnt experienced other side effects (diarrhea can potentially happen with thus product. she doesnt have any issue eating it in her food and it seems quite effective. I just wish the tube didnt get so messy

Title: My cat Merlot give this product 5 paws review
Review: I don’t know what magic they put into Laxatone, but my cat Merlot is obsessed! Seriously, he loves the taste way too much—it’s like he’s found the feline equivalent of chocolate! Every time I pull out the tube, he’s instantly at my feet, giving me those “I’m the best cat in the world, now give me my treat” eyes.But the best part? It works wonders! Merlot used to have issues with hairballs (he’s a super fluffy guy, imagine a walking cloud), but ever since starting Laxatone, he hasn’t thrown up once. No more surprise “gifts” on the carpet! Now he’s fluffier and happier than ever. I swear, if Merlot could write, he’d give it 5 paws out of 5.

Review: This is kind of subjective because everyone’s cat has different taste buds. But my cat didn’t like the taste. Hartz discontinued their chicken flavored hairball gel and I’m having a hard time finding a replacement… this isn’t it.
