Review: the gap is a little too large, but the quality of the steel is good. Makes a good burger patty, but make sure you use wax paper on the inside or it will stick. This could be tricky with this type of press, but can be done.

Title: LOVE THIS PRESS TOOL | MAKES EVEN, FIRM PATTIES
Review: We are a house of burgers and consume beef burgers weekly (sometimes x3/week). I've never had a fancy tool like this for patty pressing. I've used plates and my hands for years with poor outcomes (uneven burgers, asymmetrical burgers).What I love about this tool is almost everything. Firstly, it's stainless steel so safer than other materials like aluminum. It's extremely easy to use but does require some strength to depress the strong spring. Based on the amount of meat you use (you can measure each portion with a cheap kitchen scale) you can perfect symmetrically sized burgers. There's a measuring scale on the inside of the press and this always for ideal customization from a 100g-400g thickness range.The press also comes with #100 "silicone papers" (which is basically parchment paper) which makes stacking and storing the patties convenient (see pic).My only small beef with the press is with the crack (the area between the round press and the outside of the press). At times, meat does get stuck in that area but I can easily remove it with a brush and water.Happy, cooking woman over here!
