Title: Superior paddle + I get to show off my love for the Lakers!

Sometimes people have a little laugh, saying they didn't realize the Lakers crossed over into pickleball. Title: Nice paddle but big premium for the NBA trademark
Review: I think this is basically the Franklin Signature Series Pro Pickleball Paddle with MaxGrit Surface. Without the team logo you can get it for about $20-$30 less. But sometimes we just need to pay the piper the dues to make us feel we belong. Myself obviously included.This is a nice paddle. The gritty surface helps getting spin on the ball. The core is stiff so I get a solid hit and response on the ball. The handle tape is soft and grippy.

Review: I am very happy with this Franklin Sports team emblem Pickleball Paddle. It is a 13MM thick, elongated head paddle, with great response and a lightweight feel. The face has tiny raised dots / grippers, which really take a beginner moving to intermediate player on to the next level with ease - they help grip and spin the pickleballs offering super control and curve technique help on every swing. The colors and quality of the look are top notch, I like being able to show off my New York Knicks fandom while I play! Polypropylene core with a fiberglass surface layer. Great paddle all-around.

Review: The primary allure of this paddle is that it has Franklin Sports' "Max Grit" surface which enhances the ability to spin a pickleball combined with the fun of supporting your favorite NBA team. The NBA part is more of a style statement than anything else. It's worth noting that non-NBA Max Grit paddles cost about the same as this one, so if there's a NBA royalty component, it's not reflected in the retail price.The paddle itself is great and priced appropriately within the pantheon of paddles. And the NBA logo is sure to spark conversation, which is part of the fun. Overall, very pleased with this paddle!

Title: Well performing but not NBA level.
Review: This is a good intermediate paddle. It's like the Signature Series Pro paddles that are in the same price range, though sometimes go on sale. Obviously, this paddle gives the added bonus of flare and team spirit. Franklin paddles have a square-ish handle. They are not uncomfortable, though. The surface is not smooth. It has a nice grittiness. It's easy to hit with and performs commendably for this price range. It's not going to hang with paddles in the upper tier, but it's not meant to. This one is well-performing for the G-League, but it's not an NBA all-star.
