Review: If you’re looking for the ultimate weapon in your quest for household domination, look no further than the Maverick Playing Cards, Standard Index, Red and Blue, 12 Pack. These cards are the secret ingredient to transforming your game nights from snooze-fests to epic battles of wit and cunning.I started out with a simple game of Canasta with my husband. Little did I know, these cards would turn my sweet husband into a card shark. Within minutes, I was being swindled out of all my money. Lesson learned: never underestimate the power of Maverick.Next, I tried a round of poker with my friends. Let me tell you, these cards turned my kitchen into the Wild West. Bluffs were called, fortunes were won and lost, and my dog somehow became the dealer (and possibly the biggest cheater in the room).The sturdy design of these cards makes them perfect for intense shuffling, accidental spills, and the occasional tantrum throw (yes, I’m talking about myself here). The red and blue designs are as classic as they come, and the standard index means you won’t need a magnifying glass to see if you’ve got a royal flush or a whole lot of nothing.

Title: Cheap, but that's the point...
Review: These are the welfare persons disposable deck of cards. Generic is the best description. If you just want some basic decks of cards for game night, solitaire, or an arts & crafts project and care not for longer lasting cards that feel good in your hands, these cards are acceptable... Being super cheap they will get that job done.If you want to do cardisty, expect quality card stock that looks and feels good, this just isnt the brand to buy. While the Maverick brand is owned by United States Playing Card Company, they are actually made cheaply in china (hence the price) and you can feel it when handling them. USPCC just own the Maverick brand (which they purchased from Hoyle) and they now outsource the printing. This results in cards that are a long way away from the traditional bicycle card quality most associate with other USPCC decks & brands they produce.Its not a crappy product as they do what they are made for, and being only $1 a deck it hard to call it a bad value. However, when comparing to decks that are just a little more in cost, they just wont measure up. So if you can afford to spend a little more and want cards that will be a step up in quality, give these a pass...They wont last too long being they are not built

Review: Questionable description, purchased a new case of twelve. The case was cut open and the box was taped up. The individual packs seem undamaged.Deck shuffles easy but the new deck fells stiffer than other brands. As a whole the decks are serviceable and a value for the price

Title: You know how it goes… you get what you pay for
Review: At $1/pack I’m not mad, but as a classroom teacher who uses playing cards frequently, I expected this box of 12 packs to last me a year and probably not much more.Two packs went to hell within the first two weeks of school with high use. I slowed down and ended up using better quality cards for my regular use. I now keep these around and when a student asks if they can have a pack, and I say “sure,” I look like the most generous human in their world.So TL:DR; is these cards are worth about as much as you’re paying. They won’t hold up for too long. They don’t feel or shuffle as nice as Bicycles (for instance), but if you just want some low cost cards, get busy!
