Smith’s “Pocket Pal” Tactical Sharpener features a G-10 handle with a 420 stainless steel frame, Tungsten Carbide glass break, Pocket Clip, pre-set crossed carbides and ceramic stones which provide the “Perfect Edge” every time. Carbides provide quick edge setting, and the specially shaped ceramic stones are designed to give you a razor-sharp edge on either standard or serrated edges. The fold-out, tapered round diamond-coated rod is designed for sharpening serrations and small gut hooks. Title: Great for edc or bugout/home bag
Review: I got both of Smith's small portable sharpener's. The advice I would give is that you like something with some umph to it, but portable and still relatively light then go with this one. The sharpener's are very effective for keeping a working edge on any knife even serrated. But it has a steel core that ends in a window shatter tip. Kind of like if you prefer full tang knives you'll like this one better. Also, I may be mistaken but if you simply hold on to it and hit someone it could act like a brass knuckle ala Mel Gibson in Payback when he knocks out the security guards with a roll of quarters. In anycase, I just like its feel and it works great so... hope that helps ya.

Review: This thing is not worth the price. Can get a better edge on some type of flat stone material. Returning immediately. Description say something like “keeps a working edge on your blade” yea for buttering toast.
