Title: Clean water
Review: We have one of these where I work, n never realized I could install one in my home.Water is much cleaner since we had well water.Takes all the impurities out of it, n water makes my showers n drinking and clothes feel much cleaner and refreshing.

Title: Filter Unit is great. Make sure you pick the correct inter filters.
Review: The quality of the units was very good. I liked the spin down unit that came with the unit.My house in on a well. We use quite a bit of water because of all the sprinkler usage. This make our well have quite a bit of sand sediment .The spin down filter was clogging quickly and caused significant pressure drop in the pressure.By removing the spin down filter screen the pressure return to a higher level.I am using a larger micro filters in the unit than was supplied with it.Overall the unit is great. I am happy with the cost even not using the supplied filters.

Title: great filter setup
Review: filter is near perfect. the only thing that would make this better would be including an adapter so the spindown filter can be connected to main filter without a headscratching trip to hardware store to make an adapter due to the clearance issue preventing you from being able to screw spin down directly in completely water tight wise.installation seems solid other than that and works great on my well water

Title: Amazing Results
Review: One of the filter mounts had messed up threads on the outlet but the shipper replaced it quickly. If you are not experienced at plumbing you will want a professional to install this unit. I added valves so I could bypass the unit to service the filters without shutting off water to the house. I also added a coupler on both sides of the unit so I could remove it or tighten the fittings if I had to without cutting or re-sweating the pipes. Now for the good part. I had bad rust in the water. I shocked the well with chlorine with only fair results but the rust returned. We had to use Iron Out with every load of wash and use filtered water to drink or cook. We have a big Culligan two tank water softener that should be enough for a house twice the size of ours and I flush it with Iron Out and regular softener cleaner both but still the water was bad.. After installing the filter unit I drained the water heater and the house lines then opened the valves to the filter. It was still cloudy but not like before. I checked regularly using a clear glass and over the next week and a half to two weeks it got clearer every day. Now it's crystal clear, don't smell and the water softer is doing a great job again. I highly recommend this unit if you have hard water and rust that the softener can't handle.

Title: It leaks...
Review: It is eary to install just know you have to tighten the canisters real good, mine leaked from both sides untill I went back and re tighten them until they would turn no more. However the main issue is that It leaks from top button, you really can't fix that... It is a slow leak but it is steady. You also get an incentive to buy because of the free pree filter... Well I had to go back and remove that cheap pre-filter, it leaked also, those threads are very poorly machined. Not even pipe dope sealed it.

Title: Good value for a 2.5 stage system. Support is good. Does nothing for Chlorine.
Review: I installed one of these recently and the junction between the two filter housings had a slow drip leak. Contacted the seller and they sent another one out. Issue was resolved after replacing my first unit. The pre-filter is cool and will show big particles, which can be backwashed out.EDIT: After running this system for a few weeks now, I decided to do some testing for chlorine using a Sera test kit, and sadly the filters supplied in this kit do absolutely nothing for chlorine (not chloramines). I performed a test at the city water supply and after the filters, the results are identical. I took the filters out to inspect for any damage or installation issues but could find none, after I put them back in I re-did the chlorine tests and got the same results as before. My suspicion is either the water is getting past the carbon filter some how or the filter is simply not good at removing chlorine. Luckily I have a .5 micron carbon filter at our sink for drinking water and testing that for chlorine results in a clear sample (no chlorine present).
